Ghanaian-born, New York-based musician, composer and producer Blitz the Ambassador is poised to take the music scene by storm this spring with the release of his third studio album AFROPOLITAN DREAMS April 28 on Jakarta Records. 

The 12-track album is an intoxicating collection showcasing Blitz’s penchant for old school NY hip hop with the indelible influences of Fela Kuti and other Afrobeat icons and at the center of it all, his masterful lyrical flow. The album skillfully captures the immigrant journey as experienced by Blitz himself with the help of guests such as Seun Kuti, Nneka, Oxmo Puccino and Angelique Kidjo.

From a new generation of DJs who are growing up with Soundcloud, Facebook and YouTube, Lexer has earned himself a solid place in the contemporary, poppy spin-off of the deeper, melancholic side of house music.
