Rom Vazquez is a Mexican artist, audio engineer and currently regarded as one of the best electronic music producers of México. He was a fundamental part of the birth of the electronic music culture movement with residencies in several club in the south of Mexico like: Tulum, Playa del Carmen in the early 2000’s.

Since 2006 he moved to Barcelona (Spain), Ensenada (México) and Brno (Czech Rep.), always developing new skills, collaborating with local artists and creating music for short films, movies, video games and live performances. During this time he played gigs and performed as his alter ego: Rainboy in local and international clubs and festivals in Europe like SupperClub (Amsterdam), Bear Butch, Martins ( in Barcelona). In May of 2021 he made Vienna his new home base and was already able to show his broad electronic music skills at Fish Market (Grelle Forelle), Replay (Opera Club), Cage by Circus (Barbenberger Passage), Vertigo (LOFT) and Loveball  Astronaughty (Camera Club) and Ken Club ( Das Werk )

In 2022 he started his latest project, connecting his roots in Mexico and his years of journey with his present urge to stay hungry and evolve. By choosing his name Rom Vázquez as artist name, all strings form a strong basis, by crystallising the best of his career and life till today. Experiences like from his former project ‚Rainboy‘ – a DJ project over 20 years, as well as his passion for a big range of electronic music, his instinct to connect with the crowd on the dancefloor and to spread his joy from the first till the last minute of his (live-)sets.
