Dear friends, I'm grateful to share with you the recording of a morning session I had the pleasure to DJ on the cutest art car, Lucy S Cargo the colourful Sonic Snail 🌈  after sunrise on Friday AM at Burning Man 2024.

It was a sunny Friday morning on this love planet, smiling and taking life as it comes, lightly and playfully. 

I was so glad to DJ alongside @christianvoldstad and after my brother @dextercrowe who was soundtracking his first sunrise session on the playa so beautifully! I recommend you start with his set so you can hear the earlier chapter of this sunrise journey.

Kora @ Burning Man 2024 ☼ Morning Set On Lucy S Cargo

One my favourite moments from Burning Man was having the opportunity to play music from the Lucy S Cargo art car during sunrise. Already just biking in a gorilla onesie through the dust to find the glowing snail in the middle of the playa while the first signs of daylight were beginning to colour the sky was pretty surreal. @christianvoldstad played a beautiful set before I started around 6am while the sun was still hidden behind the mountains in the distance. A few friends, some small groups and solo burners danced on and around the car, others hung out in nearby art cars that had pulled up to listen, others climbed a nearby art installation, others pumped a fist while they biked passed. Ice cold Bloody Marys being served by our amazing hosts to any takers from the cutest little cart and the back of the snail.

By 6.30 or so the sun had started to peak over the horizon and within what seemed like a few minutes, had risen fully bringing the heat of a new day in the desert. Then right after me, my brother @koramusique took over with a masterful session that ended ushering Lucy over to the temple where the Black Rock Philharmonic was playing a special performance. Keep an eye and ear out for this special recording coming soon 👀 this was the beginning of an pretty epic day..

Brian Zajak, alias Fejká, began his musical career at the age of 17. Torn between the dreamy, soft atmosphere of ambient music and the hard, punchy vibe of techno, Fejká couldn't decide which direction his music production should take. “Day/night, dream/dance, slow/fast - music was always split into two worlds for me” he says. So he decided to experiment with both.

With his sunrise set at this year's Fusion, he took our hearts by storm and we are happy to present his unique style on our channel.

Lunar Plane was founded by identical twin brothers, Emre & Mert Altinok. They discovered their passion for producing music while developing an electronic music streaming platform in 2014. Born in Istanbul, the brothers were on the national swimming team and attended Yale University where they studied biomedical engineering and economics.

After signing a downtempo EP with Solomun’s label 2DIY4, Lunar Plane became the focus of the Altinok brothers. Fueled by their strong academic background and passion for music, the twins experimented with melodic techno, progressive house and electronica. As they discovered their unique style, the brothers produced a signature sound of emotional ethnic melodies accompanied by strong driving basslines, organic groovy drums, and deep ritualistic vocals.

As a result, more than 40 of their tracks charted globally. Eleven of these tracks were listed in Beatport’s Top 10 charts, and their tracks Olappa, Seraglio and their remix for Oliver Koletzki’s ‘Fire In The Jungle’ have made it to #1 on Beatport in their respective genres. In less than 5 years, Lunar Plane has become one of the most prominent artists in the electronic music scene. 

With strong releases on labels such as Oliver Koletzki’s Stil vor Talent, Solee’s Parquet, Moscoman’s Disco Halal and Just Emma’s Underyourskin Records, the twins captivated many dance-floors across the globe, including Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Beirut, Bali, Doha, Moscow, Kiev, Athens, Istanbul and Cairo.

Das DJ COLLECTIVE aus Zürich - ROMA. Zwei Zürcher DJ’s die sich bei ihrem ersten Back 2 Back gefunden haben und merkten; «Was war das für ne geile Schei...!? Das passt perfekt!!» Der Samen war gesät. Doch es brauchte weitere 3 Jahre voller Liebe, Leidenschaft, Zuneigung und Zankerei, bis der Spross am 19. März 2022 das Scheinwerferlicht des Hive Clubs in Zürich erblickte – ROMA DJ COLLECTIVE. 
Seit diesem Zeitpunkt spielt ROMA immer wieder an bunten und illustren Partys. Unterdessen dürfen sie sich Resident DJ’s des legendären Partylabel Aera nennen, welches die «Nacht der Blumen» zu einem Jahreshighlight im Hive Club kultivierte. Mit ihrem discoiden und pushendem Sound verzaubern sie die Leute auf den Tanzflächen. Selten wird es ROMAntisch, doch der aROMAtische Duft ihrer Liebe zur Musik ist spürbar und im Licht der Scheinwerfer zu erkennen – siehst du sie, wie sie funkelt...?! 
Das alles ist ROMA und noch viel mehr. ROger und MArc. Zwei Zürcher DJ’s die zusammen die Welt der elektronischen Klänge erobern.
