Hey everyone!

Today we're finally uploading our Sao Pauli Summer Mix that we recorded during our stay in Sao Paulo. In this Mix we wanted to catch the vibes of this wonderful and sunny city, where we had such a great time!

It wasn't our goal to create a DJ Set that represents our club oriented sound. Instead we wanted to reflect the good times and the music from our warm days and nights in Sao Paulo. 

The smooth and warm tunes are hopefully going to help everyone to survive the cold winter here in Europe and everywhere else around the world.

Our next @DarkScienceElectro premiere takes a look at the debut LP from current Electro wunderkind @Jensen-Interceptor 

After a ton of EPs on labels ranging from @Cultivated-Electronics to @cpurecords and his own @InternationalChrome imprint, Sydney-based producer Jensen Interceptor debuts on @LoneRomantic with his long-awaited full-length release, ‘Mother’. 

Mikey Melas has steadily released music as @Jensen-Interceptor since 2012 and in that time has made quite the impact on fans and party-goers alike. With his seemingly endless flow of music and charisma, this Aussie producer has managed to fly the Electro flag like a seasoned vet, playing shows all around the world and opening up the minds of a new generation of fans. 

The track selected by @DarkScienceElectro to premiere is the first track on the C side of this double-LP and is called 'Ufology'. As the name hints, this track is on that outerspace-grind with fast-moving bass lines, synth arpeggios and a set of alien-sounding pads and leads. The track is punctuated with a great rhythmic groove that creates an overwhelming feeling of cruising through the streets of Detroit in a spaceship.

PREMIERE: Jensen Interceptor - Ufology (Lone Romantic)

Fans of Helena Hauff's storming Cover Mix from earlier this year will be familiar with @lockedclub and @privatepersons. She certified Locked Club's 'Baikal Boogie', from 2017 debut EP 'Forever Punk' on Private Persons, as "BANGIN'" when selecting it among her tracklist of ferocious electro. 

The balaclava-donning Russian production duo and label are now linking forces again, with a five-track EP titled 'Svoboda' landing on November 9. The title translates as 'Freedom', and refers to the struggle clubland faces to exist in light of governmental attacks. They cite the raids and shutdowns of Outline Festival, Аrma17 and Rabitza in their home country, as well Kiev's Closer, London's fabric and Tbilisi's Bassiani from further afield, as influencing the rallying energy of this EP. 

This manifesto of fighting for freedom instils an intensity that surges through the record. The title-track is a blistering mesh of distorted textures, hard-hitting percussion and call-to-arms vocals from Vadim Seleznev, who demands we "value the moment of the rave" among his searing flow.

Triptyque - Hydratation

NYC-based artist Agent Orange DJ continues to make a major impact on contemporary dance music by reworking classic tracks into modern day anthems. Earlier this year he released his rework of Armand Van Helden's 'Witch Doktor' that was swiftly picked up by some of the best DJs in the industry playing it on some of the biggest stages in the world. Now he's back with another clever reinterpretation, this time taking on Josh Wink's 1995 track 'Don't Laugh'. In a similar fashion to Agent Orange DJ's last release, this new rework has been rinsed in sets by the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber and many more. 

Agent Orange DJ had this to say in the inspiration behind his rework and the reaction it has received since sharing it with his peers: "When Josh Wink released 'Don't Laugh' in 1995 on Nervous records, it really stood out to me because of its unique concept. A guy laughing over a simple beat is just too simple right? ...but wait! I then realized its beauty really lived in its simplicity and you couldn't help but get caught up in the smooth 303 acid lines and the crazy laughter until the whole dancefloor started to laugh! 

"Earlier this year I decided to give it an update. In March I sent it out to some DJ friends and a few weeks later, started getting videos of DJs hammering it down in Miami for the WMC/MMW and all over the world. Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Layton Giordani, Bart Skils, UMEK, Christian Smith and more. After Miami Music Week I kept getting reports from people saying it was one of the highlight tracks of the week and I couldn't have been happier about it. The news eventually made it back to Nervous records who reached out to me and said they would love to put it out. After getting Josh's approval we agreed to go ahead with it and I'm glad it found a home on the label who originally released it."
