" The Gardens of Babylon is a growing international brand based in Amsterdam who specialize in full experience events that combine music, spirituality, and visual effects worldwide. 

Launching the label in 2019, they have quickly cemented their position as a quality purveyor of House music.   Omri Guetta is a leading Israeli DJ/producer who over the last 15 years has built an amazing back catalogue. Named # 1 Underground DJ in 2017 at the Tel Aviv Music Awards, his magical sound is soaked in emotion and his label Frau Blau continues to impress. Fellow Israeli, Omer Tayar, has an equally impressive career in music. The guitarist and DJ-producer has been showcasing his exquisite, diverse music selection at the leading venues in Tel Aviv and beyond. Additionally, he has been spearheading the music production department at the highly respected music school Rimon. 

The two recently joined forces for an endless number of upcoming releases and an exciting live project.  Opening the EP with delicate melodics and sparse percussion, ‘Ever So’ begins its journey with class and style. Building in intensity over the mid-section, the main break provides a moment’s rest before spiky synths drive the final section home hard. ‘Trip In’ is a deeper excursion. Hollow pads and percussive FX keep the groove deep and attention grabbing. Mutating main lines cause an explosion of interest midway and become delightfully musical.   

On remix duties, German DJ extraordinaire and Younion boss, Re.You takes ‘Ever So’ down a darker percussive path, focusing on the emotional side drawing out the tension with clever sound design, while Portuguese artist, Xinobi, adds his substantial studio skill to ‘Trip In’ making it even deeper and melodically rich.  "

His 4 track record titled „Universal Language“ picks as its main theme musics ability of being the great connector - permeating cultures, ethnicities and seeming differences and thereby tying all people together.

Samantha Loveridge follows up her hugely successful last single on this label with a sublime new track, 'Beka', featuring vocals from Lizwi.

'Losing My Religion' arrived back in April and took Samantha Loveridge to a whole new level. It was a captivating cover of the R.E.M. classic from the Sydney-based artist who has long had a huge passion for music. She has played across the world from Ibiza to the UK and while picking up high-profile support from tastemakers such as Black Coffee, Jimi Jules, and Rüfüs Du Sol she has also placed highly in the Beatport charts. Her collaborator here, singer Lizwi, last appeared on this label in early 2022 with a track alongside Kasango and Deep Narratives on Africa Gets Physical Vol. 4. She draws on her Zulu ancestral background and echos their spirituality in all she does.

The beautiful 'Beka' is seven minutes of deeply immersive Afro house. The warm drums set a heavy rolling groove while the expressive vocals of Lizwi serve as a call to the dance floor that sends shivers down the spine. The liquid synth work and rolling percussion all enrich the track and ensure it makes a lasting emotional and physical impact.

This is a fantastic second outing on Get Physical for the vital Samantha Loveridge.
