Kawrites is an electronic project initiated by Romane Santarelli in 2015. She released her first EP named «LUNAR» in 2016, revealing an aesthetic universe that is both cinematographic and dancing. In 2017, the talented violinist Marion Lhoutellier joins the project and from this obvious association the second EP «CARMINA» was born and released on Chill Masters Records. Since then they invite us to enter their universe between imaginary and enchantment, infuenced by many electronic artists like Rone, Nils Frahm or Birdy Nam Nam.

Un an après la sortie de « A Life with Large Opening », album encensé par France Inter (Rebecca Manzoni) qui a mené Samba De La Muerte de La Maroquinerie (Paris) jusqu’aux terres mexicaines, la formation normande célèbre cet anniversaire avec un album de remixes d’une pièce maitresse de leur second album : ‘Motech’.

Ce nouvel opus ‘Motech & Friends (Remixes)’ a été pensé comme une compilation réunissant les artistes de la scène électronique indépendante française et européenne. 
Calling Marian, Zenzile, Inuït, Roscius, Mokado, Axel Rigaud, Chantier (Gauthier Toux & Erwan Valazza), Jan Brauer, Yolande Bashing et Zerolex ont répondu à l’invitation du groupe afin de s’approprier, de réinterpréter et de remixer ‘Motech’. 
Derrière ce casting impressionnant se cache aussi la volonté de Samba De La Muerte de soutenir et de mettre en avant la scène musicale qui les inspire. 
Le produit de ces différentes rencontres nous donne à entendre une musique riche, singulière, puissante, témoignage d’une émergence musicale foisonnante et ambitieuse.

Munie de ses machines, Romane Santarelli est une artiste qui propose une musique entre techno onirique et electronica. Depuis septembre 2019, elle parcourt les différentes salles de concerts et festivals français (Coopérative de Mai, Printemps de Bourges, Transbordeur, Nuits de Fourvière, Reperkusound...) s'appuyant sur ses deux EP 'Zero' et 'Quadri' plébiscités par la critique (France Inter, Les Inrocks, Libération, Tsugi...).
