Metereze keeps a steady path of releases and this time around it is young star Vincent Iulian who picks up the ball and delivers four astounding tracks on his Four Quarters Ep. Also a native of Bacau like Dubtil and Raresh among others Vincent has already released on labels like Naural or Moment.

Started is probably the grooviest of them all and for sure you’ve heard it before if you’ve been attending the right parties. Breaking the boundries between techno and house this is a true masterpiece. On the same side he also shows a more relaxed atmosphere filled with jazzy percussions and easy synths. Stors kinda makes you stop and dream for a while.

First on side B we have another dancefloor monster. No more is is driven by a hypnotic synth and infused with enough drums to keep you on the move for the whole 7 minutes. Le van a cantar keeps the catchy driving mood but this time Iulian explores a more broken path. Bubbly voices, snares and a haunted synth emerging now and then make this corner as interesting as the rest.

Four Quarters is a must have for any serious collector. Not to mention if you’re a dj.

Keeping the momentum going seems fairly easy for Barac as he unveils the long awaited second ep on his Moment imprint. Last years have seen Barac evolve in a very lucrative way, yet only his best productions seem to be making their way top. It is clearly the case for this second ep which features two of his solo masterpieces. Moment of clarity is electronic poetry at its best. Barac delivers the proverbial summer sunrise directly into your speakers and ultimately into your heart. This track is meant to never be forgotten. Without changing the soundscape too much barac has a slightly different approach on side b. Things get a little more serious with sun & following being driven by a catchy bass and a haunting atmosphere. This tune is as bomb in the night as the other one is in the daylight.

Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia aka SIT conclude their Sideways trilogy with three dancefloor oriented tracks, meant to awake different feelings in each one of us. The sample embroidery molded into the pure acid form of Angels will leave us smiling in wonder. The fast paced scratch theme from Reconnect may satisfy our dancing hunger, or we can just lose ourselves into the myriad filtered bits of Shadow, with its breaks sequence as our only guiding path.

This is the last piece of the Sideways’ puzzle, when the last droplets of energy left inside our bodies, after this 15 tracks long analog ride, are spent for seizing the present. The closing moment, when the curtain falls and our minds are still trying to decipher the hidden message. A message that points out to the diversity of electronic music envisioned through SIT's creative touch.

Dubtil’s debut for Amphia comes in line with the previous 10 releases’ tagline: tailoring new musical perspectives into the multidimensional universe of electronic music.

The opener "Indoiala" sticks into our brains with its slow decaying voices, pitched down to embrace the devilishly simple percussion. Keeping the same eerie approach to his idea of dancefloor oriented loops, Dubtil completes Side A with "Alta Schema", another typical kick-led experience enveloped into a more haunting bassline. Bearing a deep house DNA yet not losing contact with the dancefloor energy through its breaks pattern, Side B’s "Repet Slap Repet" opens the gates to the abstract structure of "Contrar", an apparently chaotic contiguity of weird samples, glued to each other by the minimalistic bassline.

Jumping from one genre to another, confronting dusty preconcieved ideas just to turn them into a fresh sound: Dubtil’s imagination fountain is far from getting dry! We now have the tangible proof.

Romanian up-and-comer Cosmjn (Cosmin Nastasa) with his latest Organik EP, is scheduled next at Naural Label . 

Side A starts with Aster Ix, a track with simple percussion and a hard, yet smooth, bassline. The continuous pad and the occasionally sparky chords make 'Aster Ix' the perfect combination for an 8-minute track designed to keep you up. This 12-minute vinyl flaunts on the same side 'Twisted', which takes the darker side of the producer one step further. The dark track, 'Twisted', boldly surprises you with the trippy sequences of its repetitive vocals.

Side B is represented by the most complex track of the EP: 'Organik'"- a track playing with a natural groove as well as acoustic-based elements. It's a 15-minute journey with spacey and atmospheric-drone sounds that takes you far away while listening.
