Vibhu Singh, better known by his stage name Kalbaisakhi, is a producer DJ with an eclectic sound, combining dusty sampling with hard-knocking rhythms. He blends the old with the new and showcases his Indian roots through his craft.

A versatile producer and selector, Kalbaisakhi navigates across a range of dance genres - house, afrobeats, amapiano, UK garage, bass and jungle, and adds his signature sound by incorporating ample amount of Punjabi and desi flavours into his sets. As a DJ, he has performed all over India with names like Boxout Wednesdays, Jawani 4eva, People of Tomorrow, VegNonVeg, and Gin Explorer's Fest. Having moved to the UK recently, Kalbaisakhi has made a name for himself in the underground diaspora scene. 

He recently showcased his South-Asian flair at Homebass, London in association with Jagermeister UK.

Kalbaisakhi' s high-octane, desi-infused remixes and originals, which have been played at illustrious stages like Boiler Room, HÖR Berlin, Berghain, DJ Mag, Rinse FM and BBC Radio, have captivated listeners worldwide, earning him recognition from esteemed DJs and artists globally.

Here's what he had to say about his mix for Filth Inc. -

"I wanted to keep this mix quite rhythmic and fast-paced. There's lots of breaks, deep basslines, and staccato-y vocal samples, I tried to set a hectic soundscape which mimics an actual dancefloor. I was also inspired by Neffa-T recently, and tried blending techno and bass tracks with dubstep, that was a fun experiment which surprisingly sounded good! Also threw in some grime for good measure. I also tested some forthcoming edits and live blends, and ended things on a melodic note."
