Jacob Groening's record label Kamai Music drops a 9-track deep and melodic compilation orientated around organic house with soothing melodies and dance floor grooves.

Featured are original tracks by Budajevo & Luca Zagaia, SAVAGE & SHē, Drahm, K-os Theory, Kon Faber, Stephen Herschel, Amentia, Bakean, Farry and Namito.

The release includes label debuts by esteemed artists such as Namito, SAVAGE & SHē and Amentia, while also welcoming back Kamai Music favourites such as Kon Faber plus a fine selection of fresh talent.

Its concept embraces world diversity and welcomes artists from different countries including United States, India, Germany, Mexico, Turkey and France. United by a passion for music, this release has melodies, instruments and samples traditional to different ethnicities and cultures.

Individually the artists who feature on this release have worked with other respected record labels such as Sol Selectas, Earthly Delights, Crosstown Rebels, Katermukke and Pipe & Pochet.

Each track is an exquisite solo piece of music, but the compilation has also been curated to play as an epic playlist that flows with the peaks and troughs of emotion.

All of these tracks have been tried and tested in Jacob Groening's own DJ sets and this majestic selection also takes influence from melodic house / techno, Afro house and indie dance.

Wannabe A Frog Records serves up a selection of remixes and a 2023 update of Guy Laliberté & Soul of Zoo feat. Dominique Fils-Aimé 'Into Your Tribe' with Bedouin, Nhii, Tebra, Hicky & Kalo, and Just Emma all adding their own spin.

Says the label, "This is a gathering of music artists who grow human connections through the creation of original music and live performance rituals. Into Your Tribe (Remaster 2023) is a deeply enchanting tune with mid-tempo rolling drums, raw guitar licks, and tropical percussion under the soulful vocal. After a chunkier club mix comes a spine-tingling deep house rework by Bedouin complete with mystic synth leads and then a Nhii Remix offers something more textural and late night with cosmic synths bringing the tension. The Tebra Remix is another loose-limbed and deeper workout with an organic feel and steamy atmosphere. Into Your Tribe (Just Emma Sunset Remix) has a lumpy rhythm that rises and falls under the gorgeous original vocal, Into Your Tribe (Hicky & Kalo Remix) then takes things into the cosmos with more heavenly-sounding vocals and a rich array of lush synths, and a final Alternative mix brings some sleazy guitar riffs and a chanting vocal.

We’re almost into April but as things stand the Jaytech juggernaut shows no signs of coming to a halt anytime soon and quite frankly we’re delighted; ‘Delta’ is James ‘Jimbo’ Cayzer’s third single release of 2009.

Lifted from the Anjunadeep: 01 compilation, the Original Mix shows James drawing on his full range of skills as he pulls out of the hat a thoughtfully constructed, patiently building groover that’s full of twists and turns and punctuated intermittently with some resonating vocal cries and lingering piano keys that send it off in style.

Vladimir ‘PROFF’ Ershov then works his magic on the flipside to fashion a little something for the house room with an ice-cool, über-stylish reworking for late-night play. Keep an ear out as a monstrous, hulking beast of a bassline emerges out of nowhere to wreak havoc with the soundsystem before dropping back and resurfacing later on to anchor a typically classy, windswept breakdown as those gently echoing piano keys provide an introspective touch. All in all this release seems to suggest that the tunes will keep on coming thick and fast from both guys.

The project ROME IN REVERSE debuted in 2014 by the Italian artist Antonella Pacifico who has since relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark. RIR's environment is a melted collection of club dance music, blissed-out trance-techno, ambient dub and dreamy trip hop sounds driven by up/downtempo electronic beats. Her emotive and melancholic textures are also occasionally accompanied by her vocals.
