what's up dreamers, romellody / =D R E A M E R= here with my second mashup project!

While the first project took me three years, this has taken three months of blood, sweat & tears to bring you =FRACTAL t e s s e r a c t=. [=O=]

Subtronics has been my recent favorite dubstep artist ever since I've heard his debut album FRACTALS, and with his second album TESSERACT just released a few months ago, It was time for me to make another project.

This 26-track package of absolute bangers has been an absolute blast to make, so I hope you all enjoy this very heavy project.

"Asteroid D R O P" Is a full on Briddim mashup mainly due to Excisions sound design.

mixing Asteroid with Name Drop created a pretty accurate fusion if Subtronics, wooli & Excision ever collaborate.

so this is probably an unexpected combination but it works surprisingly well.

with how unique Dreams was in the base album I knew I needed a fitting track and no mana pulled in with a dark electro house cut.

it's nice to have a little diversity in this project so I hope you enjoy this fun house cut.

Now this was a fun one to put together, it's been another one of those cases where I thought of the idea and they fit perfectly together.

The one thing about Riddim tracks is if you know of two tracks that can fit together, then it has a very high chance of fitting together.

When I first listened to Subtronic's album FRACTALS, out of all the tracks, the one that really hooked me was "Into Pieces". I love the production from Subtronics & having one of my favorite vocal performances from Grabbitz, it has been one of my favorite tracks of 2021.

Fast forward a few years and the duo joined forces once again to create an absolute banger, insidious.

So mixing these tracks together was an absolute joyride.

(Ps. Insidious was going to be mashed up with another track however as soon as I thought of mixing into pieces, I cut ties and made this instead, though I may put that version out sometime.)

so this was easily one of the hardest mashups to pull off. the face that black ice has a strange tempo that doesn't mesh well with most midtempo tracks, I almost left it out of this project.

However, hope came in once the vocal edit of black ice came about & I relistening to where you at and everything after that just works.

Despite the hardships this turned out really good so I hope you all enjoyed it.

Originally funcked was going to be a mashup with a crankdat track, I could've pulled it off but in the end, I've settled with this triple bass house collab.

I've spent some time trying to find a good track to mashup with spacetime and spag & viper's collab fits the bill.

it also took some time to balance the mashup together so the bases don't overpower each other, but over than that I had fun with this mashup.

So this was quite a nice one, was finding the right track to fit Cyclops rocks, and must die! fitted nicely but many of the tracks I tried sounded messy, so incomes Slippy's remix of a Must Die! track and if worked well.

Lots of small notes because I don't really have much to add for the majority.
