Knee-Deep In The Dead

Icon of Sin is the second full album by brazilian synthwave artist Romero Synth. The album is heavily inspired by the classic FPS-game DOOM, being the main theme on the album's concept. It features a lot of references of the game, from song titles to song structures, quotes and artwork.

Some of the tracks have an Horror Synth kind of vibe, specially tracks like Terror Trip, Midnight Gospel and Circus of Doom (which was featured as a single track to promote the album on December 2021).

The Youtube and Bandcamp releases feature 02 bonus tracks - a cover for Dio's Stand Up and Shout, and remix for DOOM II MIDI track "In the Dark".
