Sweet Tooth was born out of a close collaboration between High Step Society and Free Creatures - two up and coming Oregon powerhouse groups. After a sold-out show at the legendary Applegate Lodge in S. Oregon, this team of creatives put their heads together in Marv & Emily’s living room to write the bulk of the song in one session. The result is a delicious combination of the two styles of these groups that tickles the taste buds and leaves the listener drooling for more.

This sweet-sounding piece is filled with smooth lyricism and uplifting soundscapes. Influences of jazz and electronic music blend perfectly to create something entirely new letting the story fully come to life.

Labyrinth [Conscious Electronic Premiere]

Greetings folks...it has been actual years since I've uploaded anything here, so here we go!  Got super inspired by some liquid / neuro drum and bass styles and gave it a go with my own spin on it.  I'll give it a for real proper mixdown and set it free for release at some point, but for now I hope you'll enjoy.  This is the first solo track I've done in quite a while after being devoted primarily to our Birds of Paradise releases, thanks for your stellar love, support and patience over the years, it is truly appreciated.

Going camping this weekend? Wish you had an extended DJ mix of campfire suitable music that everyone from the grandparents to the kids can enjoy? Look no further. Parental Guidance is Civillian's first foyer into the world of mixing live bands who are playing real instruments, a terrifying thought for many DJ's. With the common thread of real, live music - you can still expect Civillian's signature variety with selections ranging from Aretha Franklin covering the everyone's favourite The Band song "The Weight", to Waylon Jenning's penultimate driving tune "Ramblin' Fever".

Heavily inspired by pioneering efforts in that realm like Smalltown DJ's "Camping Mix", and DJ Ali B "Plays the Blues", this recording was going to be no usual undertaking for Civillian. After 2+ years of focused digging, nearly a year of practicing technique, and a 2 week artist residency in a van down by the river for the final recording stage, it is ready for the open air and the open road.
