Very excited to present 'Ingrid Is a Hybrid’, the first single from our forthcoming artist album 'Outer'.

We’ve been working on ‘Outer’ for a while now and have put a lot of love into it. We can’t wait to share it in full later this year. Through the album process, we’ve explored a lot of our wider tastes and influences, collaborated with artists we respect and also conceived the live show that we’re debuting tomorrow at Village Underground.

‘Ingrid Is a Hybrid’ is a break from the 4/4 templates we’re known for, but represents a lot of what Dusky means to us. Enjoy! Nick and Alfie

‘Golden’ is part of my upcoming EP. And I am beyond excited to reveal what I have been working on. And this song…well, It’s a real special one. A song that started in my bedroom at my parents house when I’ve been struggling a lot in life. At that time creating music helped me going through all lot of struggles. But the true turning point for this one was when I’ve met Hoodlem in their home in Melbourne. It was amazing to vibe with them in their studio and finish this song. iIt’s been a long time now since I’ve released something, but I wanted to make sure that it’s something coming from heart.

Wonder Villains are brother and sister Kieran and Eimear Coyle, Cheylene Murphy and Ryan McGroarty. From Derry - the UK Capital of Culture 2013 - they make blistering anti-pop, not entirely dissimilar in spirit from that legendary Derry band...the Undertones

(Incidentally drummer Kieran played the Undertones drummer in the new movie about the Belfast record label Good Vibrations - due for release in March 2013)

The band have played America, Morocco, toured the UK and supported the likes of New Young Pony Club, Castiotone For The Painfully Alone and The Undertones amongst others, as well as playing on the Introducing stage at Radio 1’s One Big Weekend 

They smash through two minute pop songs while cranking the distortion on their homemade keyboard sounds and their first three singles Zola, Ferrari and TV received plays nationally on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music, XFM, Q, Absolute Radio. Radio 1 support also came in the form of a Maida Vale Huw Stephens session and a BBC Radio 1 Introducing playlist.  

The band’s debut album ‘Rocky’ will be out in early summer.
