From the hometown of the future of the future, Shanghai, China, comes ROM -- digitally damaged hip hop crew staggering up, down, and all over the thin line separating honesty and hyperbole in a mission to identify and exemplify the Bad Idea behind all bad ideas.

Part party, part performance art, part precognition  -- buzzing, glitching, throbbing, whiz, bang, crash, cannibal carnival, counterfeit cavalcade, ROM is a three-headed vagabond machine pushing a subterranean agenda of malfunction and mal-intent to the four corners of the Shanghai mainframe: MC/producer icenine, producer/DJ Blaise Deville, and video artist Olive Pixel come corrupt with music, imagery, and a live show that constructs a schizoid mish-mash of future-destructed hip hop, crushed electro pulse work, and deep bass malaise.   

At the intersection of the digital and the political, the synthetic and the sincere, the masquerade and the anxiety, squats ROM, your partners working for an end to tomorrow.
