From House To Disco, a renowned duo from Brazil is bridging the gap between the past, present, and future of dance music. Their profound understanding of what moves a dance floor is evident in their curated collection, ‘Disco House For All '. This EP, a superb compilation of classics from Definitive Recordings, features four of their exclusive remixes.

This is one of them and is a sublime wedge of smooth, deep house with spine-tingling chords that recall the likes of Jamie Principle while the tender pianos and dynamic drums keep things moving at an inviting pace. Ron Allen Turns a Canceled Flight into Musical Gold with "Stranded in Paris"

Ron Allen didn’t plan on his latest track, “Stranded in Paris,” to come out of a travel mishap, but sometimes inspiration hits in the most unexpected ways. After a soul-recharging trip to Sicily, Allen was en route back to Toronto when an Air France layover in Paris took a sudden detour. The airline canceled the flight due to safety issues, leaving him stranded at Charles de Gaulle airport, armed with nothing but a lackluster airline food kit and hours to kill. Rather than sulk, Ron decided to turn the chaos into an adventure.

“What are you gonna do?” he laughs, recounting the experience. “After a few hours of wandering around the airport, I finally made it to the hotel they put us up in, but I couldn’t just sit around.” So, Ron did what any restless DJ would do—he grabbed an Uber and headed straight into downtown Paris, which happened to be buzzing with Olympic energy. “The city was alive in a way I hadn’t expected. The whole vibe, the lights, the people—it was electric. I thought, ‘I’m definitely coming back here.’” That wild mix of frustration, spontaneity, and the unmistakable beauty of Paris became the pulse of “Stranded in Paris,” a track that captures both the tension of being stuck and the freedom of surrendering to the moment. Classic Ron Allen, turning life’s inconveniences into musical gold.

The Bandcamp release also features an exclusive Dub Mix and a loungy-jazz vocal version inspired from the wonderful Parisian cafes.

In 1991, producer/DJ's Ron Allen and Hayden Andre fused their talents and formed Strobe Records, one of the most influential house music labels of its time. The popularity of Strobe grew very quickly and its unique sound spread through North America, Europe South America and Asia.

Get On Up and Afterglow- Come Back 2 Me, Strobe was one of the hottest selling house music labels around. Strobe's vision even gave birth to producer and label owner Nick Holder DNH Records with the Release of "Digital Age" EP.
Ron has had countless Soulful House, Deep House and Techno releases on Strobe records since 1991 and also has many features on labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Plus 8, Stickman, Definative, DNH, Poker Flat, ClubStar, Soul Candi, Tresor, Crosstown Rebels and Defected.
