I have never worked on, nor was I raised on a ranch. I have never ridden in the rodeo, but I can ride a horse. Some people call me cowboy because I love country music and wear a cowboy hat and boots. So that's what this song is about.

Just another prison song. Please know that I am not glorifying an outlaw life here, because it is not a good life and I have made a lot of mistakes, but I am reformed and a retired outlaw. I write about it because it was a big part of my life.

There is a lot of me in this song. I recorded it and didn't listen to it for well over a year and then one day I was listening to it and I said, "this ain't to bad". Shortly after that a friend of mine, Lea Ann told me that was her favorite song of mine.

This song is defiantly about me. My dad has a the picture of me I mention in the song. Im like 3 and he's working on a car and I'm handing him a wrench.

I have wrote, sang and played country music for years. Friends have to me I need to sell my music because its so good. So I.m going to give it a try.
