A1 is Channel X with their galloping „Rodeo“ that can catch those wild horses on any prairie. A2 definitely isn’t from the pony stables with Gunnar Stiller’s beautifully drawn sound scapes. Not six months after their last outing on Get Physical, Monkey Safari are back with two more of their perfectly playful house tunes. 

For the best part of the last decade now, Lars Rühlemann and Sven Fröhlich have been serving up a quirky and curious take on house music that has brought real character to the dance floor. They have put out three absorbing full-lengths as well as almost thirty EPs, and have made their Hommage label a vital one in the process. Get Physical has also become a regular home for them and they come correct on the German label once more here. 

Opener 'Palomar' is a superbly slow-burning house bubbler. The lush drums get you in the groove then exotic vocals rise out of the mix next to lush chords to infuse you with real soul. It's a track to get the whole floor under a majestic spell. 

Second offering 'Artifact' is a more tribal tinged tech house tune with rolling snares and chunky drums. Chanting vocals join the mix to pump the groove even more and make this the sort of endless house groove to lock crowds in the moment. 

These are two more hugely effective and charismatic tunes from Monkey Safari.

Welcome back, Mr. Novodisc! After two highly successful single releases put on the circuit via Formatik Records in 2017 and 2018 respectively the Malaga / Spain-based producer is finally making a return with two razor sharp club bangers for the next indoor season.

With „Kiss Ass“ the Spaniard is delivering a clear musical statement for all peaktime players out there, fusing a piercing, metallic foundation with large scale reverberating and big room Techno-referencing bassdrums as well as hefty percussion rolls and a strobe-lit, laser rave attitude to surely set any venues' roof on fire within seconds.

Furthermore the subsequent title track „Dancing“ sees Novodisc shifting gears to enter the upper tempo range of the club music spectrum. Providing a distinct and highly seductive bassline groove, raw midrange rave riff and sharp, shuffled hi-hats alongside a killer Acid line and high octane drops this one's is gonna take jam-packed venues by storm within seconds. For more than the last decade, Ron Flatter has been enriching the house and techno landscape with his own direct and energetic productions and warm, groove-driven DJ sets. Initially the young German was a keen skateboarder and hip hop fan, but the lure of dance music soon pulled him in and he has never looked back since. 

Over the years he has turned out a high number of consistently excellent and innovative tracks that are filled with unique sound design, fresh melodies and plenty of dance floor drive. He has done so on labels like Pour La Vie, Still vor Talent and Traum Schallplatten, always evolving with each new release and exploring fresh new ground. Plenty of taste making talents ardor the world have all played his productions in the past, and recent cuts like “Stupid World” and “Desert” have taken DJs by storm: they combine heavy drums with light, emotive pianos and well-timed breaks that thrill and surprise just when you least expect.

As a DJ, too, Ron is a skilled selector who knows exactly what to drop and when to drop it. He has played in every major club and festival in Europe in the last decade and holds down a key residency in his hometown of Halle (Saale), Germany. It is there that he likes to interact with crowds, read their needs and play to their passions, mixing up deep house and techno and plenty in between. 

After more than 26 EPs and singles, a fine 2011 full length in Growth Rings that really showcased the breadth of his style and more than 50 remixes, all of which have seen Ron put his special stamp on a cultured selection of sounds, Ron Flatter is well and truly a global electronic player who wins big with each and every project. Always releasing and headlining on a regular basis, Ron Flatter’s beats are the beats that matter.
