Japanese-Canadian Grammy® Award nominated Ron Korb has travelled around the world collecting bamboo and various indigenous woodwinds. Creating a mosaic of Pan-Asian, Celtic, and Latin influences, his music is both fiery and sublime. His compositions are inspired by his exposure to the music many cultures and his mixed race upbringing in Canada.

Ron represented Canada at Expo in Aiichi Japan and at The 2014 Shanghai International Arts Festival’s where he was voted the audience choice by the fans. Ron is on the list of "Ten Best Flute Players in the World” list as well as winning countless other awards.

Ron’s new release World Café, features legendary Cuban pianist Hilario Duran and Jorge “Papiosco” Torres and Juno winning guitarist Johannes Linstead. This CD has already won the International Clouzine Music Award for Best World Fusion and the Global Music Award for outstanding achievement in World Music
