After 101 years of service to the Ottawa area, CIWW-AM signs off the air for the final time at 9:00am on October 27th 2023. The station having been transmitting at 1310 KHz since 1941, this station served the community well. On October 26th 2023, Rogers announced that they would be closing the station effective immediately, and returning the license to the CRTC. Here are the final moments of CIWW recorded off air, with the final announcement coming at 9:00am, and the carrier cut immediately after.

Kavinsky - Nightcall

A ringtone I made using the Behringer Neutron analog synthesizer, It's the one I currently use on my phone. Cuts through ambient noise. 

If you like it and want a copy let me know and I'll make it downloadable. It's already in .m4r format.

I do one pass of the sequence, then turn the low-frequency-oscillator (LFO) knob for one pass (listen for the warble), then back again. On the last pass I turn on the echo until it just starts feeding back as it fades out.
The first attempt was too quiet so I patched the output trig into the LFO and boosted the signal. Plus a bit of filtering to make it bell-like.

I'm enjoying this creating waveforms from scratch approach.
