I was in Sante Fe awhile back, and wandered into a big dance hall where the wonderful Bill and Bonnie Hearn were performing.  Several mature couples came in, dressed to the nines, and began dancing arm-in-arm in a big circle on the dance floor, beautiful, elegant, understated, almost choreographed.  So I was thinking of the lovely dancing of thse couples when I wrote this - also a little Jimmie Dale Gilmore may have been inhabiting my soul at the time...

So when I wrote this I was thinking of when I was a kid, laying in the grass in the summer, looking up at the white puffy clouds and the blue sky, imagining what the clouds looked like - a safe positive memory to go to when life kinda sucks.

This song says "I'll be with you through thick and thin, even when its bad - at least until the feeling's gone".  A bluesy rock thang, produced by Gregg Leonard (great lead guitar by Gregg also), a wonderful background vocal by Trez Gregory, the great rhythm section of Chuck Mauk on drums and Pat Prouty on bass.

This track was co-written with Ron Miller, who is a great country writer as well as a music entrepreneur.  Hopefully it has a fun, modern country-Americana feel. Produced by Gregg Leonard (who plays great electric guitar), wonderful keys by Kyle Turner.
