Only A Winter's Tale

Hi!   I started making noises at the young age of 14 when the music bug bit me.   My mom bought me a guitar which I still can't play but singing seemed to come naturally and it was a darn sight easier!   

I sang whenever and wherever I could for friends etc until business matters prevented me from doing so...but I still sang in the shower...so I hung up my mike!

My wife of 43 years, Micky, passed away and a year later I met and married Erica and she persuaded me to take the mike off the hook, dust it off and start making noises again!

Since then I have recorded two albums.   The first, Hits of  Yesteryear, is a collection of 18 golden oldies.   This was followed a few months later by my first gospel album, Precious Lord Take My Hand, which has 16 well known songs of praise.

There are another two albums in the pipeline:   "Down Memory Lane with Ron" and "Only a Winter's tale" and these are in the production stage.   Should be ready for release very soon!   THESE ARE NOW READY TO BE RELEASED.   I have uploaded some of the songs for you to have an early listen.   You download them too, if you like.   THESE  HAVE  NOW  BEEN  RELEASED  (SEPTEMBER 2012) AND I'N  NOW  WORKING  ON  ALBUM  NUMBER  5   

Album No 5, as yet unnamed, already has four original songs.   ERICA       LET ME IN      TENNESSEE  HIDE  AND  SEEK          and  the last one      PALOMINO.    The first, Erica, is my own composition and the other three come from the pen of ROBIN  RENDELL  of  Tremolat, France.   These  four  songs  are  already  on Soundcloud for you to listen and maybe download.

I love performing and have shared the stage with a few big name artists such as Lance James and Clive Bruce, but I really prefer performing for smaller audiences and have been concentrating on churches, homes for the elderly and corporate functions.

On 13th April, 2013 the Lord saw fit to take Erica home.   The Lord gave and the Lord took away...Blessed be the Name of the Lord!!!
