Tazz the Creator's introduction to music started at a young age with The Suzuki Method of violin. Although he excelled, becoming a member of The D.C. City Youth Orchestra, another instrument was calling him. His father dabbled in drums, so it was an obvious transition. Tazz the Creator's father also owned a record store (Ron's Record Room - Roanoke, VA), which also paved the way to a childhood full of many different types of music & Tazz the Creator loved them all. Listening to music for hours in his room, he developed a taste for all forms of great music.

The drummer side of Tazz the Creator is extensive in marching percussion, including: The Spirit of Atlanta Drum & Bugle Corps, Florida State University Marching Chiefs Drumline (Big 8), & The Commandant's Own - The U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. He has traveled throughout the country & abroad.

Tazz the Creator has played music professionally since age 16, has worked as a studio session drummer, & performed with many different musical groups. He was at one time the drummer for Sam Cooke's gospel group, The Soul Stirrers.

More recently, Tazz the Creator has his DEBUT, instrumental album, entitled "Whatcha Gon' Do About Me", in over 250+ stores online (Spotify, iTunes, Pandora, Tik Tok, etc.) & across the world. You can find 2 new videos on YouTube, on the Tazz the Creator channel. He was also featured on the Indie Network, New Artist Radio Show (Episode 11). Tazz the Creator has been a member of ASCAP since 2005.

Tazz the Creator not only hears music. He feels music. He is music!
