Let’s walk across that bridge... start the day brand new... know we’ll be there soon 

Let’s look out from the view of our rooms! Find the little corners of joy, discover where we like to go. 

I can’t wait to meet you and see you and fly with you, explore with you, and know you and cry with you, laugh with you, and grow with you while we go through life together. 

We’re gonna make it and learn it and try it then fall behind, then catch up, start over then watch the view, take it, and give it to whoever we are gonna be next.

Can't Wait

“They were cursing God. Cursing their own parents, the human race, the time, the place, the seed of their beginning and their day of birth.”

I raised my finger when I put the blame on him... I justified when testified to rid the overbearing possibility that it was me. 

It’s been three years since it happened... it involved us three people but I’m the only one who knows and now I say it out loud 

I’ve never told a single soul: it was my sin and I wronged them... now, what would Dante have to say about that? 

Raymond Clark once said: “It’s the journey of the dead made by a living person in the flesh who returns to our world to tell the tale.” 

It’s been three years since it happened... it involved us three people but I’m the only one who knows and now I say it out loud

All this time and now I cry... I guess I knew but pretended not to... don’t know what I have to say about that.

Never Told

Wrote this at the beginning of first year uni and now I've finally recorded it over a year later...

Overmorrow
. 
Another face—who could it be? I always wonder… another pain—it stumbles right out and cuts me under. Underwater… 

Some other day, it might—it will be—when the sorrow follows. This other way in the morning has dewdrops spread as if they all know that they’re gone in no time. 

Overmorrow—I’ll see you the day after tomorrow. The sun will set not once but twice. It will—it might… the sea will rise and fall right back down. 

We’ll see it overmorrow. Who knows what will be after tomorrow? The moon will go one phase once more but will it mourn for restless crickets humming soulful songs? 

Will I face the hardships I’ve endured until now? Or will I change how I’ve been living sunrise sundown? 

Overmorrow—I’ll see you the day after tomorrow. The sun will set not once but twice. It will—it might… the sea will rise and fall right back down. 

We’ll see it overmorrow. Who knows what will be after tomorrow? The moon will go one phase once more but will it mourn for restless crickets humming soulful songs? 

What if we just go back to nowhere? And then see whatever happens from there… It’ll be just us, I promise it will be just us.

Fought It Hard
. 
Really fought it hard, your fallen cards... they felt the need to bring you down. Said it was your fault — impossible... you were always indifferent. 

Those names they gave: your darkest place. Some years and still, it weighs you down. Never knew it was just because you were a little different... 

Cry and just wonder why... you try to unpack all those tears but they won’t flow. Cry and just wonder why... you know they’re not worth all these tears but they just flow. 

Something in you knew it pierced the roots... it starts to lean, what can you do? One degree was slight, but start the flight, and time grew still and gave you up... 

There’s no why, there’s no reason. The colour of your skin is all they see and need to act like they’re right, like they’re above you. You’re just an excuse to lift their pride and rise... 

Cry, don’t you wonder why? You try to unpack all those tears but they won’t flow. Cry and just wonder why... you know they’re not worth all these tears but they just flow. 

Look around you now... these people count! They see you for you and won’t back down. Took a while to say: you’re so brave. Go ahead, start living!

A friend has my back no matter what, she stands up for me just cause. And when I fall she’s there, just to show she cares. A friend is someone who never fails... 
A friend lifts me up when I am down, she keeps the world spinning around. And when the room goes dark, there’s still a shooting star, for a friend is a light in the darkest night... 

You are the best thing in my life and I’m not afraid of anything because you are by my side. Nothing’s ever getting in my way, with you here I will be okay... 

You’re my friend who always cries with me through the sad parts of movies... 
You’re my friend which means I’ve got someone to share the moments with... 
And in life, I can’t imagine it without you, because you’re my friend which means I have your back too... 

A friend trusts my word no matter what, she knows I will do as I say. And if problems arise, she’ll work with me and try, for a friend never gives up on us... 
A friend builds me up for my own good, even when I run, she comes after me. And when I cry she stays to wipe my tears away. A friend is someone who still remains!

My Friend

Kids are honestly the best! And when it comes to writing short little messages to others, kids know exactly how to make someone smile.

"I like seniors because they don’t let me make the mistakes they did.” 
"Seniors make me smile because I smile when they smile and then we all just smile!” 
They keep messages short and sweet! And as we get older, we forget to relax, say what's on our mind! So let's go back!
