I took two guitar lessons just enough to learn the lead part in, wish you were here. Then I played with my buddies and learned shit from them, put a band together, played out a few times then we got a gig playing a big biker bash. This dude kept saying, let me play with you guys we let him play a couple but he didn’t know the songs we were doing, so it wasn’t good. my brother the bass player tried to reason with him but he was being a hard head and then he threatened my brother. That shit don’t fly so I jump off the stage on top his childish ass and started to pound him as I was pulling back to hit him again somebody grabbed my arm and then all hell broke loose, so a good time was had by all. Except our rhythm guitar player/singer. He never played with us again. At this point I had written a few songs but now with pieces of the band I was playing with missing, I hit it song writing with new enthusiasms, commitment, determination, and too many ideas of what to write songs about to count and I had more time to work at writing since I didn’t have band practice anymore. Now I have a few songs I am pretty sure are good and am proud of. and I still have more ideas of what to write my songs about that I think are cool, unusual, unique and I am relatively sure no one will be expecting when I feel they are in the proper state of being complete, actually and artistically to be set free to do what they will, however long, wide and deep whatever they do will be. My son Ian, is my collaborator, recording engineer / producer. Critic, partner, best friend and person I would choose to make music with before everyone else. He is a talented songwriter, rapper in his own right. I count myself fortunate to have him work on songs with me. He does the rap and most of the singing on our song, Who am I. And all the other stuff I already told you about. If I was not fortunate enough to have him willing to work with me or if he was not equipped with the ability to somehow maintain enough of his cool to continue to treat me with love and patience when I am being close to as big a dickhead as a person can be. I would have zero songs for you to listen to. So please listen, to what we have up now. Some of what we have up are not complete songs, but are what I think good ideas and worth finishing. So if it doesn’t sound like a finished song it’s not. We are working on completing and laying down enough songs for our first full length album plus one. We are shooting to release our still not yet named first album in the summer of 23. We plan on making enough noise so every one will know the time is getting close and even more noise on the day it comes out, and for as long as we can keep it up after. Thanks
