This is somewhat of a hybrid between glitch hop, electro house, and trap; however, for the sake of simplicity, let's categorize it as Glitch Hop. I've been listening to this track for close to 2 weeks now, and couldn't wait until I made you guys listen to it. It's got a killer intro, something very different. Also, the whole melody, and drop of this joint is something very uplifting, which is not common in the recent glitch hop releases. What do you think, is this something you guys like to hear?

Boards of Electronica distils the quiet drama of worn memories: melancholic, nostalgia-tinged harmonic textures and dark-lyrical, decayed soundscapes with tape wow & flutter that lend each sound a lived-in feel. Synths breathe with mood, movement and space; chords and pads bloom into bittersweet colour without crowding the spectrum.

The drum work spans dusty, noisy trip-hop breaks, IDM-leaning downtempo beats and ’80s-style lo-fi kits captured from warbly cassette recordings. Drums lean into lazy swing and behind-the-beat pockets.

The analogue signal path provides warmth and grain, while careful editing and gain staging keep everything tidy and arrangement-ready.

Shaped through vintage front end, it balances gentle saturation, tape drift and dusty micro-detail with modern clarity, so parts drop straight into your mix. The set runs between 65–90 BPM. 

Whether you’re producing electronica, brooding lo-fi tracks with a morbid touch, nostalgic, melancholic trip-hop or cinematic soundtracks, ‘Boards of Electronica’ supplies retro charm, space and focused precision and detail that make your production feel complete.

When Krewella sent me the stems for their single, 'Runaway', and asked me to remix it, I thought why the hell not? The vocal was good and I could put a one hell of a spin on this track: I could fuck people up.
Guess I was too edgy though because they wouldn't release this as an official remix. Well, let's give it to the fans and let you guys decide.
