With ‘Barfuß auf Wolken’, the young Berlin local KlangKuenstler doubtlessly released on of last year’s biggest tracks on Stil vor Talent. This summer he finally delivers his new ‘State of Mind’ EP, which showcases the full range of his trademark melodious sound in the form of three originals. The title track surprises with a forcefully rattling kick and driving garage percussion, which lay the foundation for trance-infused synths and a stretched bass-line. The flawless arrangement is completed by Lorenzo Hall’s striking voice. On ‘The Faith’, KlangKuenstler then mixes beefy deep house with animating disco vocals into the perfect club track. Lastly, things take a turn towards the epic, as ‘Heaven in your Arms’, a collaboration with Dayne S, is crafted for those really intense dance-floor moments. State of mind: excellent!

The original “Fire” track was released on the Highlife World Series: Kenya record in June 2015.
