"I felt compelled to make this mix during my mandatory hotel isolation period, depicting certain moods I was flowing in between; reflective, sensual, longing, hope... suspended in time. The tracks are very special to me and remind me mostly of missing loved ones. I really wanted to focus on speech and lyric - especially female vocals. The mix is actually a vessel for femine energy and some of what that represents to me. Snippets from the “100% Genuine” CD released on Rephlex records have been woven throughout the mix, a collection of real phone recordings from a dating agency."

@roza-terenzi aka. Katie Campbell, has escaped Berlin lockdown and is currently on the first leg of her NZ tour, starting with Beacon Festival in Auckland. 

She delivers us a pretty special mix for our 24th instalment in the series - a little more down-tempo and reminiscent of her iso-diaries while in NZ quarantine.

Alicia Keys - Unthinkable (Footwork Remix)

Peach - a ubiquitous variety of schnapps as well as one of our favourite DJ's of the year, steps into the FH control room for an hour(ish) of dancefloor mastery. With no productions (yet 👀) to speak of, Peach has forged a name through her DJing prowess via her Radar Radio show "Snacktime" and while more recently with appearances on the bill alongside the likes of DJ Fett Burger, Hidden Spheres and Jackmaster in December.

Her bow astrung with plenty of strings, the London based Canadian has it in her locker to deliver in a number of ways; whether it be stonking, ripping-rawness or silky-smooth pearliness - her mixes provide an ever encyclopedic voyage into dance music. Not wavering from this sentiment, her mix for FH lies on the more chilled side of her repertoire - awash with soft sonic waves licking the shore of the floor.

Existem diversos caminhos em que musica se torna uma obsessão, mas todos eles aplicam uma dinâmica parecida na pessoa: A idéia de que todos os outros caminhos que a pessoa não fez se tornam uma possibilidade. Bad_Mix é Samuel Malbon, produtor e DJ e um dos fundadores da festa Caldo em São Paulo (SP), ele ficou conhecido nos últimos anos por sua impressionante capacidade de fazer todo tipo de faixa excelente para as pistas, mas aqui em Rotas Vivas este canivete suíço da musica eletrônica nos apresenta outro caminho: Acompanhado do impressionante baterista Leonardo Marques, nós nos deparamos com harmonias de qualidade poliglota, solos de tendência realista e uma bateria que respira, dobra e se desdobra, evitando típicas backbeats como se a vida de Leonardo dependesse disso ou talvez como se um disco do 4hero fosse jogado em uma sala de ensaio e fizesse questão de se tornar algo mais brasileiro do que já é. Existe um contexto de influência de jazz no disco? Sim, mas isso não é o epicentro da coisa, Rotas Vivas é um disco tão literal na ideia de que os diversos ramos da musica podem nos elevar a uma nova potencia, que qualquer outro nome ou conotação seria um crime. Quando alguém se possibilita algo a mais, você tem que oferecer o beneficio da duvida.
