Ronin is an artist whose dedication to his craft and integrity has established him as one of the leading lights in the region, while mainly being a Beirut regular. Having made a name for himself as one half of dynamic duo Ronin & Nesta in early 2000s, he has achieved a level of quality and discipline in the craft that is unsurpassed.

Over the years, he has built a trust with House music lovers, comfortably sitting between modern and old school sounds, keeping things warm, emotive and stripped back on the dancefloor, with a bag full of grooves.

As a DJ, promoter, club booker, music curator, or brand strategist, he has proven to be a remarkable talent. With over a decade in the scene, his contribution to some of the most exciting and successful projects around is a testament to his hard work and dedication.

He is currently the resident and booker at The Ballroom Blitz in Beirut - which he holds dear to his heart - runs party brand & artist collective Beirut In the Mix, alongside creative agency Andco. in parallel. What’s for sure is that he has maintained his excitement and dedication all along, enjoying himself and sharing a lot with friends and people he meets! The best way to put an everlasting smile on everyone’s faces.

I smiled so much that day, my cheeks were hurting!

Still buzzing from that day at the Wintergarten in Sisyphos, probably one of my best experiences as a DJ in a long time.

Everything aligned so perfectly and the energy kept flowing abundantly: the crowd - especially the first 2 rows, the sound system - well tuned and punchy, the room - cozy, intimate, and just the right size, the staff - for being so kind and professional, and the crew who partied hard and didn’t stop dancing (YKWYA). There’s something about Berlin in general, and more particularly about Sisyphos that draws you in the minute you set foot on the dancefloor, and that’s something quite unmatched - and ridiculously good! I just can’t wait to come back again soon.

Restecppp to Monokultur for pulling a crazy set and turning the room upside down till 6pm on that same day!

2017: Wow! Just on time to recover and recollect all the good moments from Saturday, but still not over them yet! Possibly the most enjoyable weekend I have had in quite some time, with a beautiful energy flowing over The Garten from start to finish. It truly felt great and just like home! A big shoutout to the weekend warriors: Hady for keeping up with the night like a boss, Jad Yazbeck for the morning mankouche, Ralph Nasr our tequila master, Lara Kays for her infectious whistles, Patch & Paam for the 5 minutes videos, Rolbac for that tap on the back, Vanessa for breaking her move goal on both Saturday and Sunday, Kikilonglegs for the kickass supersonic sunglasses, Hisham Zahran for sleeping early that night, Harun & Merve hallederiz karchim, Bibz for barely staying, the mighty Georges Richa for the sunrise videos, Rudy, Vatche, Sam, Andromaque, Ralph, Jennifer, and most importantly Majd for being underage and still trying to sneak into parties! 🙏🏼❤️

In the spirit of International Labor Day, Lebanon top clubs and promoters unite on May 1st to raise funds and support all non-managerial employees in the electronic music scene. A 3 day virtual festival with non-stop live streams from 150+ DJs around the world. Ronin is an artist whose dedication to his craft and integrity has established him as one of the leading lights in the region, while mainly being a Beirut regular. Having made a name for himself in early 2000s as one half of dynamic duo Ronin & Nesta, he has achieved a level of quality and discipline in the craft that is unsurpassed.

Over the last 2 decades, he has built his reputation among House music lovers, comfortably sitting between modern and old school sounds, keeping things warm, emotive and stripped back on the dancefloor, with a bag full of grooves and smiles…

His combined 15 years of club and radio residencies, namely at The Basement Beirut, NRJ, Mix FM, überhaus, The Garten, The Grand Factory, CLOSR and now at The Ballroom Blitz, have allowed him to master the fine art of long warm-ups, peak times and after-hours, and play alongside a wide spectrum of the most vibrant artists, including the likes of Sonja Moonear, Binh, Apollonia, tINI and Ben UFO, but also more classical staples like Mike Huckaby, Kenny Dope and Derrick May.

As a DJ, promoter, booker and entrepreneur, he still finds the time - under one hat or another - to be a speaker at ADE, a guest artist at the Red Bull Music Academy, record a Boiler Room, run creative agency ANDCO, and tour every major city in Europe and the Middle-East — playing at both small intimate rooms and big scale shows, from regional Circoloco, Half Baked and secretsundaze to Off Week Barcelona, Creamfields, Groove on The Grass, Snoopy Beats and Sandance Festival.

He is currently the resident and booker at The Ballroom Blitz in Beirut - which he holds dear to his heart - runs 13-year-strong festival FLOAT, pushing all-star local line ups in his home country, as well as newly formed collective somewhere… in Beirut, Paris and Dubai, showcasing a fresh and modern take on House music, with funk & electro infused sounds.

What’s for sure is that Ronin has maintained his excitement, consistency and dedication all along, enjoying himself and sharing a lot with friends and people around him! His best way to put an everlasting smile on everyone’s face.
