Paint pictures and portray it as perfect.
The show must go on even when it feels like we should close the curtains. 
Cos theres nothing wrong... with the ugly scenes or broken seams 
On what we try piece together while figuring out what this love means.
Not a romanticized misconception, to some people those mean everything
But you teach me to be grateful when pills wont let me appreciate anything. 
You couldn't pray for much more,  Even a wish is hard to fathom
I dont want that kind of love, when your around it, you can't stand it. 
So let not be happy, 
Lets accept the racism and be arrested for simple things. 
Let this world built too high for natives to climb reach its peak for what it brings
Isnt destined for you or me.  It never was, Not to begin with. 
Statistics say we shouldn't be happy as natives but its different
With you in my life.. Happiness has worth. 
I would rather be unhappy with you cos without you...
