Sirius Syntoms is not supposed to be taken too serious, it’s a fun track that has the potential of making dancing people happy. 

I started working on this track in 2009, in between the sessions with Christabelle when we worked on Real Life Is No Cool. Although I almost finished it, it never got a release. I did play it live on a few occasions though, and thought it had some potential. Since 15 years this abandoned track has been in the back of my mind, and on the list of tracks-to-be-finished. Earlier this year I picked up the pieces, and finished the puzzle!


Sirius Syntoms is written & recorded in 2009 & 2024 in Kongens Gate and Wizards Bay Studios in Oslo/Holmsbu, Norway on real synthesizers & drum-machines (including Pearl & Simmons syntoms!). Cover artwork is made by myself on a vintage Remington typewriter, DIY-style. Mastering is done by Nick Terry @ Black Valley Studios in Oslo, Norway.

The live recording of my set closing the Anteroom for Snug, at Savage Hanoi on 18/1/25. This one has a lot of meaning to me, playing under my real name for the first time, vibing out with my fellow queers, friends and all. 

Grateful to have the chance to play longer. Have been embracing playing looser lately, going by feel and just having fun.

I've been DJing for over a decade now, and have been lucky to play a diverse range of events, set times, genres and crowds. I'm in it for the music, and the smile on people's face when a tune gets dropped that they didn't expect and gets em dancing. I love a boogie behind the decks just as much too!
