So a crack head came in my job and stole 15 dollars from my tip jar. I caught him in the act and even after confronting him he had tons of excuses leading up to how he couldn't have possibly stole it. Despite being on camera and physically seeing him with my own two eyes, he still proceeds to bullshit me and claims he didn't do it but will have my money replaced. He uses my work phone to call a man to loan him $100. I figured I'd never see that money again but after about 30 minutes of waiting, a man shows up to the counter and waves a hundred dollar bill at me and says he came to pay off a debt for a friend. He tells me to take 15 dollars that was stolen from me, and ring him up for a muffin, and then give the change to the crack head that robbed me. I rang him up for a muffin, and told him that I wasn't worried about the 15 dollars anymore and I just wanted to help the guy that took from me. After he walks out of the building the crack head walks up and asks me how much money I had for him so I simply responded by saying "get the fuck out of here crackhead" Long story short I took all the change after ringing him up and kicked the crackhead out. I helped that man out by not being a narc and calling the police. Lesson of the story is that time is money, so he ended up paying interest.
