Challenge: make a track with a stupid cowbell only. I set aside two hours for this. No additives. Whoever struggles with a creative block should check out the timeboxing method. Another learning: cowbells make pretty nice bassdrums.

The track Elysium was originally composed by Jester (Volker Tripp) for Sanity's Amiga 500 demo with the same title. What shall i say? It's a classic production from the alltime hall of fame and ever since i first watched it in 1991 the music stuck in my head.

Hence the reinterpretation feat. the AudioRealism orchestra.

This is the result of building a rough layout from scratch, focusing on the sound design process. Based upon a Mick Gordon approach to distorting the shit out of a sine-based sound. Using Ableton's Wavetable and a stack of four Saturators.
