Indianapolis hip-hop artist Mickey Young has just released his brand new single “Memories,” now available to stream and download on all major digital platforms. “Memories” serves as the first taste of his forthcoming project, Light of Mind, a living, breathing playlist slated for release throughout the year. 

“Memories” chronicles a young Mickey during his days in the south suburbs of Chicago. The song focuses on a childhood of imitating favorite video game and anime characters with chums at a popular day camp in the city. A nostalgic reverie in song form, “Memories” depicts a much simpler time in his life. Collaborating with fellow Chicago native, Hannah Stanford, over Jordeaux’ simple, dreamy production, Mickey scores his first single available everywhere since 2014’s “Hang Loose.”
