Ronny Greene (DJ SOLO)  is one of Sacramento’s, newest up and coming DEEP HOUSE Dj’s.  Although he is new to Sacramento, he is not new to the House Music scene. He started spinning trance at the age of 14 in early 1998. He played at local underground renegade parties/raves in Monterey, Ca. After developing his own style, he moved to Mt. Shasta, where he continued to buy music and perfect his mixing skills as a Dj. He threw full moon renegade parties with his brother and friends under the A2K productions.  Two years later Dj Solo then spent some time in Ashland, OR djing record store openings, smaller underground bars and night clubs in the Ashland area and a local radio station at Southern Oregon University. As a part of the A2K production co. he worked at the local Record store A2K records. He was booked for gigs all over California/west coast. While working at A2K records he began to collect HOUSE records and his love for DEEP House began. Late 2002 Dj Solo moved back to his roots UT. Over the course of 8 years he continued buying music and playing out in Salt Lake City, UT.
Now it’s 2011 and Solo has done over 100 different clubs/underground parties/weddings/private parties/raves/birthday parties/school dances etc. He has played in California/UT/OR/WA/WY and decided to settle down here in Sacramento, Ca., where he plays as a resident at a party called DEEP @ Shenanigans on J street , in downtown Sacramento. He Has played here in Sacramento alongside SPUN (Rong Records) at the Rong Party, Karizma, Dj Conor (Sf), Markus Mark (kick drum), Barry Weaver and many other music masters from back in the day. The parties here in sac he has played at range from Tempo/Kickdrum 15 yr anniversary/Rong music/Strut/Womp/wreckless bass and the Owl Club in Roseville. You can catch him on the first sat of every month at Shenanigans mixing his smooth blends and artistic style of DEEP HOUSE.
