Cant Forgive 용서 못해 (Ballad)

Disquiet Junto 0727 asked us to pull two cards from the Oblique Strategies deck, and record the piece that they inspire. 

I interpreted my first card, "You don't have to be ashamed of using your own ideas", as encouragement to go with my instincts and not second-guess myself. So I kept the first improvisation I conceived for each instrument, without self-censoring or editing. I had to retake the lead guitar to fix a technical issue but I did not stray from my original inspiration for any of the tracks. 

The second card I drew was "Twist the spine", which I took as an invitation to "twist" the pitches of the guitars, leaving them sounding a little uncertain. I like the atmosphere that came from that decision. 

Features electric guitar (St Vincent), Yamaha digital piano, synth, Roland TR-08 drum machine, and synthetic acousmatics.
