What So Not - Gemini (Heimanu Flip)

Roofboy, né en septembre 79 à Paris est un Dj Français établit tantot a NYC, L.A., Paris, ou encore à ValThorens.
Issu de parents saltimbanque qui font du théatre de rue et parfois en salle, il est depuis tout petit baigné dans une troupe de gens d'horizons différents. Il trouve vite sa place en tant que superHero en faisant le clown et en s'attirant le regard de la foule. La star est née.
Entouré d'univers incroyables (famille, grafitti, video), il revient de temps en temps sur terre, et s'inspire des bande sons, des musiques de la cafète du théatre, en analysant la funk, le punk, la new wave, le hip hop, la house, le rock, la techno, etc. 
Bref, il construit son identité musicale. Dans les années 1990, il débute une carrière de rappeur (hein?). Tres vite ennuyé par cet exercice de style qu'il concidère trop facile, il décide de ne faire que des versions instrumentales pour ses potes rappeurs, et surtout son frère Syclone et son groupe DYSLEXIE. Et c'est tant mieux.

Pendant près de 10 ans, il produit pour de nombreux artistes dans sa chambre, qu'il surnomme FOLIMER (la mère de la folie = la ou le magic happen = également le nom de la rue : folie méricourt). C'est ici que tout se construit, de la mixtape, au maxi, en passant par les albums, tout est fait tantot sur cassettes 4 pistes, avec un atari, un sampler, ou encore a l'aide d'un véritable arcenal home-studio professionnel.
Le voisinnage est ravi.

Il remporte plusieurs disques d'or et un Grammy Award, Nottament pour le rappeur français SINIK produit par NEOCHROME & 609. Aujourd'hui, il se consacre entièrement à sauver l'univers. A travers des mixs et des prods, il tente de sauver la population de la merde commerciale diffusée a outrance. FUCK TOP40 BITCH.

hi. I used to make beats with an Atari, now it's kind of crazy, especially now, with google. I love grafitti, ping pong, video, design, Dj, but I have to eat everyday, so I don't play ping pong so much. Flash my favourite superhero. I dont always quantize my drums. I do everything at the same time, it's funny, there's never enough hours in a day to do all. That about sums me up. I mix, produce, dj, perform, sing, scratch. Wait, no, I don't sing.
