For the 15th episode of our podcast series we welcome MCHCH, a young Spanish DJ born in the region of Asturias, currently residing in the electronic music hub of Amsterdam. He delivers a mix consisting of hard, driving, ambient dark techno transporting you into a virtual underground.

Originally from Lille, a city in the northern part of France known for its eventful history, Alexis or Risolee is an artist governed by two intrinsic passions: painting and music, influenced by his parent's affinity and appreciation for art. 

This environment also played a role in creating an impression and kindling his artistic mind for its art exhibitions and proximity to Belgium, a country which he thoughtfully accredits in enabling his interest in Electronic music for their cordiality, passion, and good taste, reflecting on the incalculable parties he attended with friends in Brussels, Anvers, and Ghent in clubs like FUSE, and Petrol.

Alexis began the concept of "Risolee" in 2014 after moving to Paris where he began collecting records and embroiling himself further into his art. It is a project which strives to combine his efforts in music and painting, creating a harmonious link between both his processes in each medium and focusing on his ideas, values, and dreams, which are partly inspired and informed by the Surrealist movement. Risolee attempts to illustrate through his music and art that many things happen in our life that are not ruled by our consciousness, but rather by our subconscious and artists like Dali, Ernst, Escher, Magritte, Bacon and even Lynch depict this idea very well.

Risolee is an incredibly selfless, passionate person which accounts for much of the attraction he holds as well as a remarkably careful selector with excellent taste. We urge you to plunge into the sounds of Risolee for the 16th episode of our podcast series.

KINN'S restless creative spirit has led him to create his own productions which have been released by underground labels all over the world such as Nada Espacial and Traza Music and his unwavering passion prompted him to conceive his own vision through a podcast label called MAVRICA, which is quickly earning itself a reputation of being one of Slovenia's most consistent underground podcast imprints.

However, it wasn't until 2016, when he discovered his country's peculiarly remarkable minimal house scene that he fell in love with electronic music and embarked into becoming an electronic music artist. With over more than 10 releases in his Bandcamp, Mark has collaborated with artists and labels such as Octave, Cozu, Inunct, Utro, Raw Russian, and more... He shows no signs of stopping and wanting to go beyond the limits he avoids being pigeon-holed into one style. Instead he identifies himself as an eclectic artist whose inherent nature is to explore and adopt different styles that mark him.

his age of just 13 years old. His inspiration is from his cousin who brought over a pair of CDJ350s and ever since his flow and deep full taste of music has expanded to a deeper knowledge of music
His productions and mixes were presented all over the world from Slovenia to the USA. Since those events he started his own Podcast label under the name Mavrica, which in English means Rainbow. People were a fan of his flow and deep full change of melodics and basslines throughout.

Caley Martin aka Caley, delivers a masterfully engineered extended set for the 23rd podcast of our humble imprint. Vlad - Adrian Lascu is the owner of @TanapaRecords, @VALSeries and the Co-Founder of Microhub
Known as " Bakus " and " Lascu ", his two aliases based on Rominimal, Techno and Break Beat.
Vlad was born in Codlea, Romania where he started to produce music since he was 13. He experimented with genres such as Dubstep, Hip-Hop, Trap, etc...

TwoNones (@2nones) is a curious but mythical DJ & Producer coming from Slovenia. Nik, also known under his main alias KINN (@kinn901) has been exploring electronic music since his early ages. He was inspired by his cousin who eventually brought him up to the scene when she brought over a pair of CDJ350s and since then, his vision toward creating an unforgiving flow of elements, materials, and other pieces has begun. His productions aren't quite common nowadays but they've been heard all over the world from his home country to another side of the Atlantic Ocean. Those events in his life changed his perspective on music and he has begun his own Podcast label under the name Mavrica, which in English means Mavrica. People were always amused by his creations and the way he tells a story in his mixes making it a road trip you never experienced before. He knew how to get people hooked to his mixes and since then he's been doing it constantly throughout his years. Born and raised in Santo Domingo, Gotro grew up around his family's eclectic combination of funk, punk, and rock music, ending up with a mixed yet coherent spectrum of musical influences. He considers himself a direct product of Rooftop Cardigans' musical philosophy, and hopes to see a shift in the Dominican scene towards more minimalistic, elaborate styles of Techno and House; a shift he wants to make himself responsible for.

Luijo (Mixcult / sub.spiele) is a DJ based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic that has been delivering less commercial forms of House and Techno since 2002. Luijo is the emblematical Deep Techno and Dub Techno artist in his country. Currently, he performs worldwide. He currently holds a residency with Russian record label and radio show Mixcult, alongside renowned DJs such as Andrey Pushkarev, Idealist, Kirill Matveev, Lola Palmer.

Having already collaborated with groups such as sub.spiele Records (GER), Cyclic Records (RO), Fuzion Mix Radio (ARG), DeepMix Bucharest (RO), and Deeptakt Records (GER), Luijo's conceptual approach on music concentrates on building atmospheres and creating plenty of space between sounds, constructing a harmonious balance between sound and silence; his powerful delivery of rare and elegant music is his well-known trademark.

Patagonia-native Ezequiel Deza has been developing his distinctive sound since 2003, already having shared stage with the likes of Francesco Del Garda, Mike Shannon, Cesar Merveille, Xandru and established South American artists such as Nektar Agu, Andrés Zacco, Leonel Castillo.

His DJ sets conjugate a selection of tracks with a very particular taste, with playful broken rhythms and minimalist textures, giving an important place to experimental music designed for the dancefloor. 

With releases on CLASSIC Airlines and Estentoreo Records, today he is resident of Hunza, one of the Argentinian party-cycles with most international projection.

It is with the greatest of pleasure that we cordially welcome Cristina to the 13th installment of our assiduously selected podcast series. 

Hailing from the capital of Romania, Bucharest, Cristina was born near the Black Sea shore in the holiday spot 2Mai, on April 19, 1987. She was lived into a childhood and adolescence of electronic music, as her father was an avid vinyl collector with an affection for electronica.

At the tender age of 14 was the first time she stood behind the decks, learning the  techniques and crafting her DJ skills, and shortly after she began playing at local summer club. Prompted by her interest in electronic music and restless creative spirit Cristina also attended and completed a singing school.

In 2006 she moved to Bucharest getting involved in the Romanian capital’s underground party scene. She got to play her first gig at the Zebra club in Bacau, where many artists who left their mark in the Romanian underground scene have originated and made their stamp. For the next decade she was a regular at many of Bucharest’s underground spots, and became the resident of Silver after-hours club.

After a short hiatus, Cr15tina remerged back into the scene, this time with an interest for producing and creating her own sounds, marked by strong feeling, and emotion. 

Her first EP, "Zbor Maiastru"(2016), was released by the label Arms Limited, followed by "Love Dimension" E.P (2017) released by the label Cisne Negro, and then her single for our own Rooftop Cardigans Sampler V.A. "Nu Zaietz Pagadi" (2017). 

Since 2017 she has joined forces with HighSound.Ro collective, an agency that promotes underground Romanian dj’s, artists and music producers.

Featuring music from Christopher Groove , Sebastian Paiza , Yuuki Hori , Franco Zehringe , Zepovek and various others, Cr15tina's style is stamped by a compulsive funkiness and curiously warm, elegant feel that will positively leave you spellbound. Spinning a fusion of styles, equally deep, muscular, and above all minimal, uniformity and consistency are just but a few words that describe this beautiful extended set.

Omar Jimenez was born in Puerto Rico, where he became a young guitarist and music disciple. Although his early influence is progressive rock, he soon fell in love with house and techno. Omii co-runs a collective called 2210 in NYC.

As a teenager, Omii dedicated hours to studying music and practicing playing the guitar. Never settling for common sounds, he dedicated most of his time listening to complex and beautiful music ranging from Pink Floyd and Rush, to John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Omii then summoned that same meticulous selection process and musical drive when he fell in love with house and techno. He developed passion for DJing, and never looked back since. Omii began playing in Kansas City, MO, and quickly began playing around the Midwest, Puerto Rico, and New York City.

Omii's unique style is characterized by his obsession with fusing house and techno sounds that are often in direct opposition, and playing tracks that move between deep and energetic, while simultaneously maintaining a main groove that glues all these elements together. You can find him most days hard at work at his Brooklyn studio, producing events, or playing gigs.
