É com satisfação que apresentamos agora a coletânea RAVE RJ SUPORTE VOL II: uma combinação musical de artistas e suas experimentações, registrando uma singela parcela das manifestações sonoras feitas por aqui. São 16 artistas e 12 faixas exclusivamente de produtories cariocas/baseados que constroem a cena de música eletrônica alternativa do RJ, cada qual com sua singularidade.
 Uma iniciativa com desfrute imediato, resultado de colaborações múltiplas e um documento para a posteridade.

100% do dinheiro arrecado será revertido ao Fundo de Apoio da Rave RJ, destinado a pessoas que dependem da vida noturna e que tiveram sua fonte de renda comprometida pela pandemia do COVID-19. Trabalhadories autônomos e informais, que em sua maioria não possuem outra forma de suporte.

Premiere: Anasisana - Sometimes It's Better To Be Alone [Self-Released]

Singer-songwriter Toyota Vangelis (Václav Peloušek) is using his uniquely autotuned voice and seamless merging of the electronic and (simulated) acoustic sounds to dismantle the binaries of the human and the machine. While always inventing new ways to interact with electronic music as lead designer at the synthesizer company, Bastl Instruments, he still manages to find elaborate ways to sculpt the Czech language into his rhythmic and melodic structures. At this year's Lunchmeat Festival Toyota Vangelis presented a live set and songs from his brand new EP Moc that started to take the form during the time-less Corona situation.

After a long wait, Etang Brulant is absolutely stunned and delighted to bring you serbian musician Zhe Pechorin and her new solo release, « Boundary Lessons ». After several appearances on Various Artists these past months (Amek, Minor Adjustments...), a 20 minutes live jam released on Ōtium and a cassette on Holy Geometry two years ago, « Boundary Lessons » seems to crystallize the mental universe and her thoughts network in a touching and highly personal way.

Using deep pads and pristine synths drowned in an ethereal reverberation without ever slipping into a cacophony of lost or forgotten frequencies, the melodic composition of Zhe Pechorin demonstrates a calm and peaceful state of mind, yet torn apart by an overwhelming melancholy, sometimes subtly pulled out of its torpor by noisy addings and the discrete trespassing of damaged leads. Through the listening of the whole album and the meaning of titles, one can feel a strong sense of loss ; almost a mourning process or a heavy nostalghia, adhesive to the skin and the mind and dangerously craving for recognition. Homesickness of an unknown time, of an unknown land, of an unknown past - or a real and more painful impression of regret, one can choose the shape of its interpretation.
