After 1 good year of hiatus, Room With A View is back in full effect with a very special 3 tracker by Kyodai, a duo that has been gathering serious momentum after highly celebrated releases on Local Talk, Exploited, Freerange or Pokerflat to name a few.

The famous brother pair has proven to be working hard in the last years recording, remixing & touring extensively. Reknown for their energitic live performances & to have deliver tracks & remixes that have been played by the Who's who of the global House scene, Kyodai have decided to choose RWAV to deliver some very personal tracks. In 2013 already, they appeared on our label with the uplifting "What You Give" that became on of the key tracks of the live sets of the last 2 years.

Enjoying a long 15 years friendship with Dairmount and a common love of hybrid tracks loaded of musicality, Javi & Luis decided to lock themselves in studio last winter inspired by the idea to be the artist chosen to relaunch the label in 2015. The title Times Fly symbolises the longevity of friends that went through 2 decades of creation & exchange.

And the result has been as surprising as the pair shaped up a very hypnotic & tribal red line with these new tunes. The title track "Times Fly" has been recorded in a few hours on a full moon night in their berlin studio, managing to induce a perfect balance of melancholy & tribal rhythms. Quite different of their usual sound signature, the track got everything to conquer the hearts of many different dj's & listeners this summer. "Sacred Ritual" is born of the idea of creating a special tool for Panorama Bar (where the pair just played before their studio time in january) and focusing on the power of drums & percussions. Finally, "You Know It" is reminiscent of their classic Kyodai sound epitomised by their hit Breaking with filtered basslines & catchy samples. The track has been one of the big crowd pleasers of their recent live sets.

​Last year was the year Deetron launched his Character label. His Roots Panorama project with Ripperton set the wheels in motion before he returned to his solo alias for the 'Theory Of Light' EP. 

Fast-forward six months, past the devious Seth Troxler 12" collaboration 'Love Song', and the Swiss DJ and producer's back on the label with 'The Believer', three belting tracks with plenty of vigour.

Jon Sable joins us this round for an hour long journey into his world of deep and jazzy house sounds. Growing up in Auckland, New Zealand, he fell in love with music of this variety while driving from beach to beach, bumping mixtapes. Around the same time, he met Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales of Chaos In The CBD and began exploring production methods. A few years ago, Jon made the jump across the pond to NYC, where he cut his teeth playing out in bars and clubs and selling wax behind the counter at Turntable Lab. Shortly after, he made the move to London where he’s now set up a slew of forthcoming releases with labels like Tief Music and Banoffee Pies. On top of this, he’s put together his own imprint ‘In Dust We Trust’ co-founding the label with Ben and Louis as they take turns pressing up moody and melodic mid-tempo jammers of their own. The most recent release, Accidental Meetings EP, sold out almost immediately. As a growing audience waits for more, we’ve rung up Jon for a sampling of his DJing, as well as answers to some questions below.

15 Years of Dirt Crew 👏  A 5 Mag Mix 90

Italian born, Berlin based Gianfranco “Nanni” Barnaba, is the mind behind Ruff Stuff.  Nanni has rocked up on a host on different labels, including Madhouse Records, Shall Not Fade, Suol, Quality Vibe and Neovinyl. However, it's the work on his own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which he’s arguably best renowned.

He grew up during the ‘90’s electronic wave, ﬁrstly as clubber and then as DJ and vinyl enthusiast, in the mid-2000s he decided to start producing electronic music. 

His ﬁrst steps were taken in IDM and Ambient territories, driven by his love for ethereal melodies and intricate broken beats.  The shift to House happened after re-discovering different classic records hidden in his collection. From here the idea to create a music project focused on representing the vibes of the old-school House, Techno and Garage with a propensity to ﬁnd the newest, freshest sounds.  Rough samples, hypnotic melodies, groovy beats and vocals are the main ingredients that marks the Ruff Stuff’s sound.

Very few new imprints have received such a warm welcome from all sides of the spectrum than Room With A View. Respected dj’s, worldwide music media & retailers have all been deeply impressed by the quality & vision transported by the label founded in spring 2009 by Dairmount & Anja Knupper in Hamburg. The label’s ethic is aiming to get back to timeless “emotional content” club music with a futuristic flair, while breaking the pattern of “functionality” that club music too often slips into these days. Room With A View presents a subtle mixture of House & Techno with a twist of freshness & Detroit influences.
