Alejo has represented the intersection of Minimal and Hypnotic techno since 2020. He has evolved his style and musical genres over the years, transitioning from Progressive House to his current Hardgroove and Driving Techno sound.

"On this studio podcast, which is almost 2 hours long, I put together a set featuring my favorite styles of techno, including Hardgroove, Minimal, and Hypnotic. The mix includes tracks from artists like Chlar, VIL, and Rene Wise, as well as other notable figures in the genre. I selected each track to highlight the unique elements of these styles and create a cohesive listening experience. I hope everyone enjoys this set as much as I enjoyed recording it."

Having cut his teeth in the tougher fringes of the electronic gameʼs spectrum under a flurry of aliases in the past, Miro Pajic went on to write new material in the guise of MSDMNR in more recent years, releasing a handful of satisfyingly sturdy but hyper dynamic releases via his eponymous imprint, eventually taking his inimitable jagged and reverb-soaked signature to 30D Records in 2020 with the streamlined ʻEmergencyʼ EP followed by releases on HAYES, MindTrip, Jonas Kopp's TREMSIX, Kaiser's KSR and Illegal Alien Records.
Miroʼs music dwells the grey zone between ruff and bleepy rave material and further deep-diving excursions. If heʼs taken his place amongst the most dextrous groove manipulators out there, no doubt the reason lies in his inimitable flair for crafting pieces and moments as effortlessly immersive as they remain proof against time-erodible trends and ephemeral tendencies

MSDMNR X Techno Cartel [144]

Juan Atkins' Infiniti project combines raw tactility and puristic elegance with Skynet, where slinking grooves mask chaotic frequencies and roughly-hewn structure.

Alongside fellow Detroit legend Terrence Dixon who appears on several tracks, Atkins exposes the life and emotion in machines, outputting a biomorphic atmosphere of industrial soul.

The ongoing importance of this album is indisputable, essential both to techno and to Tresor.

El dj y productor Bas Mooy (1976), residente en Rotterdam, ha estado activo en muchos frentes de la escena techno desde 1999. Muy influido por una ciudad que respira
fuerza industrial, poco a poco se fue abriendo camino hasta crear un sonido oscuro único, que le llevó a la vanguardia de la escena techno mundial.

En 2002 puso en marcha Audio Assault Records con su compañero de sello Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, que dio lugar al nacimiento del subsello Arms un año después. En 2013 Bas Mooy lanzó Mord Records, y rápidamente dió con una gran base de fans
en todo el mundo y ha sido una fuerza importante en el techno desde entonces.

Durante casi veinte años, Bas fue miembro del colectivo underground de Rotterdam
Strictly Techno», creador de más de cien fiestas legendarias desde finales de los noventa.

Bas siempre ha sido un productor muy trabajador y dedicado, que ha publicado música en sellos respetados como Mote Evolver, Perc Trax, Pole Group, 47, CLR, Sleaze
Planet Rhythm y, por supuesto, sus propios sellos Audio Assault y Mord Records. 

Con Mord Records cumpliendo 10 años en 2023, Bas no muestra signos de desaceleración.

Episode 76 of the AF Podcast comes from friend and local Glasgow DJ/Producer & promoter, manu_facturer

manu_facturer started producing & playing back in 2019 and his production style ranges from industrial, minimal to dark ambient. Thanks to the use of field recorded sound, combined with analog hardware he has managed to create a sound that is individual to him.

In August of 2021, he started up his night, A.D.S.R, with Kalopsia and 3SBAT as residents. They run bi-monthly nights in La Cheetah. Since then they have hosted the likes of Liza Aikin, Ctrls, Galaxian, Yant and Lesser Of. They have plans to start a residency in Glasgow's new club Exit.

manu_facturer has supported the likes of Public Energy, Setaoc Mass, and Trym, at venues around Glasgow such as SWG3, Room 2 and La Cheetah. He most recently played his debut live set for Attack/Release. 

manu_facturer mixes a blend of Industrial break and minimal techno, playing tracks by newer artists like; Quelza, Öspiel, CVNSUMED and Nørbak and also veterans such as; Dasha Rush, Sleeparchive, Reeko and Speedy J. He also cites them as inspirations in his productions. 

His most recent releases are out on Revok Records, Rhythm and Avoidant.
