Monkey Sound System are an meticulously designed musical power-house brought together by Mr.Taus and helmed by Dakta Dub. They have a custom-built Jamaican-style sound system based outta Hyderabad, India where sound - system culture is equally as important serving as the cornerstone of the city’s underground movement. 

It seeks to introduce Indian audiences to sound system culture through the lenses of world music and meditation.

EchoBoy is a brand new project established by Adam from Riddim Tuffa, one of the pioneers of 80's Digital Reggae revival scene. Whilst still in the Jamaican reggae style, EchoBoy is more focused on the darker side of Dub, drawing his influence from the current sound of electronic music.
His vision is to create a unique combination of different music genres with strong accent on a sub bass frequencies. His music was released on labels such as Moonshine Recording, Solway Dub, Sould Ex Machina to name a few.

Flip the record and things get mystical. ''Sitar Dub'' brings in Lance Hume on sitar, weaving hypnotic eastern melodies into a deep bass meditation – again paired with a powerful dubwise version.

Reveal The Dub

Sub Channels Record is proud to announce their first release, "Epic EP," featuring a collaboration between Belgium-based producer Unlisted Fanatic and Moonshine Horns.

The track "Epic" is a result of the first "post-covid" spontaneous rehearsal session. After Martin just finished building his new fast-driven 90s UK stepper riddim, Jort and Kris came to a studio, and they both felt the vibes instantly. Very quickly this turns into a recording session where they have lay down the powerful, triumphant horn line. With bouncy bass and very clever percussion layering, it's a perfect backing beat for uplifting horns. On the flip side, EchoBoy slows down the tempo of the original recordings, transforming the melodic horns into more rootikal vibes. This, combined with hard-hitting wobs and ground-shaking subs, makes the B-side a more futuristic tune.

The "Epic EP" is coming out on 5th Sept. 2025 on a heavyweight 180g vinyl and digital download.

Deep Mob are deeply rooted in the spirit of soundsystem culture serving up a heavy mix of speaker rattling UKG, rave and big basslines with sweet songwriting and a whole cast of killer vocalists. This is a new project coming from two producers immersed in UK bass, dubstep, garage and jungle. Together they have played raves and festivals across the world including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bestival, Burning Man and many more.

Their debut with vocalist Steph West whose current single is getting rinsed on 1Xtra and dancehall specialist Parly B (Mungo's Hifi/Hospital) is a tribute to 90s Garage culture and is already picking up support on Capital, Rinse and beyond. It's a love letter to the golden age of garage, Avirex jackets, Moschino jeans and Ms Dynamite on the mic, with crisp 2025 production. Bass quaking, ass shaking good times guaranteed.

The ZamZam Sounds screen printed 7” vinyl journey concludes with a massive double pack link-up from Bristol legends Dubkasm & Gorgon Sound, not heard together on vinyl since Peng! Sound 12”s back in 2013 and 2018. ZamZam’s love for Bristol’s musical vibes and sound system culture and history is well-established, since kicking off the label with Henry & Louis ft. Prince Green’s “Every Time” in 2012. It’s only fitting that the series concludes in Portland’s sister city; but while ZamZam 01 was an unreleased deep cut from the 90s, the 99-100 double pack is a fully up to the minute dispatch. 

The set starts off with Dubkasm’s “The Return,” a heavy stepper in the duo’s brutal yet lush style; fleeting melodica and ephemeral flute float over a bed of heavy bassline and tough percussion. Alive with the sounds of nature, shot through with laser and siren, Dubkasm’s desk-as-instrument ethos is on full display with raw dubbing galore. Gorgon Sound’s remix ramps up the intensity with a lean, muscular, synth-driven rebuild that’s already proved to be a guaranteed rewind anywhere it’s played.

Gorgon Sound’s “Born Under Siege” is purest Gorgon while feeling like a new evolution in the pair’s unmistakable sound. Crystalline synthetic horns and strings interlace in a gorgeous melodic dance with buzzing mid-range synths and lacerating percussion over a dark martial riddim that’s both fully steppers and unlike anything we’ve heard in the idiom. Dubkasm’s crucial remix is thick, baroque and bombastic, a dubwise hall of mirrors and echoes that wrings every last drop of dub from the original. 

Pressed with each version on the B side of the opposite 7” for playing showcase style, ZamZam 99-100 are housed in a single full color offset-printed, double-die cut gatefold jacket with additional silver screen print. Limited to 1000 copies for the world. There won’t be a repress, so grab the last chapter of the label’s legendary run where you find one. Keep following the ZamZam socials- there’s more to come.

  California based artist Roommate (Justin McCauley) has a musical career that can be described as prolific and ever changing. His tireless efforts in both production and DJ'ing have currently brought him to the forefront of the worldwide bass music community. With over a decade of solid DJ'ing and countless original production releases, you can be sure Roommate has secured his title on an international scale. 

Beginning his musical quest with guitar lessons at the age of 11, Roommate has since developed his craft to an undeniable style and fashion by integrating both organic and electronic sounds. After self releasing his first solo album (Dubfunk vol1) in 2003, he quickly gained musical notoriety in the U.S. counter culture. When dubstep first hit the U.S. streets, Roommate was quick to find a love and understanding for the music and began production. Joining forces with L.A. based artist and long time friend No Thing, the two formed another key part of electronic music history; Babylon System. Roommate / Babylon System contributed many of the early U.S. dubstep releases such as "50 Blocks Away"," Examination of Time", and "Loaded" to name a few. After a slew of quality releases, Roommate was sky rocketed into the international limelight. Years of global touring followed with undying passion and intensity at every show. 

Co founding the rip roaring label Hollow Point Recordings with friend and artist SPL was another huge step for Roommate. Gaining confidence from consistent releases, Roommate used Hollow Point to push the boundaries of sound and express his musical tastes. Following Hollow Point, Roommate branched out to create two new musical imprints. King Dubbist and Avocaudio are Roommate's latest forward thinking musical label incarnations. Focusing on huge vibes and stellar production, these labels span from Dubstep to Trip-hop to Jungle to Reggae. Fusing and encompassing Roommate's broad and compelling love for musical freshness. 

Currently, Roommate is still touring avidly all over the world and spreading his custom art everywhere he goes. He is focusing on releasing two full length albums in the near future. His labels and projects will continue to grow and influence the music and art communities for years to come. Roommate's live show never disappoints and always reflects his energy and skill.
