Welcome to the Elektrotribe Expressions Podcast where we invite you to listen to sets of the artists and friends of our label.
For the episode 21 We are happy to welcome Thies the resident of Ananas events in Vienna. Matthias aka Thies has been active in the local scene since 2012. Not only as a DJ but also by putting up own events together with friends. About a year later he made his first steps in the world of music production, which soon became a passion for him.  In his productions and sets you can find a variety of flavours ranging from driving and energetic to hypnotic and dubish parts paired with a minimalistic touch. Thies released one track and one remix on Elektrotribe as well as  4 Eps available on his bancamp website.

Portal Episode 33 by Markus Suckut

Following his debut on the label in 2019 - ‘Mind Dweller’ (COUNTER013) - Frankfurt’s Stefan Alexis is back with his next chapter of four atypical, undulating techno and acid tracks.

The EP features a sparkling up-tempo roller in collaboration with label founder Inland, ‘Eratosthene’, alongside three other diverse cuts highlighting some of the Macedonian psychotherapist’s favourite modes of play: filter-funk; acid; sampling.

This release comes on 180g 12’’ vinyl and digital, featuring artwork by Berlin-based Norwegian painter Tyra Tingleff.

I am pleased that the House legend Joey Anderson is my guest in Portal Episode 54. Four amazing albums, two of them on the legendary Dekmantel label and several great EPs on various labels speak for themselves. He has a unique and outstanding sound which you should definitely check out, if you haven’t already. 

I mixed the first 60 minutes and started with an all time favorite track produced by Efdemin followed by DJ Qu, Grad_U, Patrice Scott and others. Also I included a new track by VC-118A taken from his new album on Delsin.
