Old John recorded this cut when the "refugee crisis" in the Aegean and Mediterranean cost hundreds of people their lives at the end of 2015, but the situation still persists. Eastern, central, and western Mediterranean migration routes test European society's humanity, revealing once again its colonial past through outrageous immigration laws and Frontex racist policy.
