Hello everyone, it’s the second Sunday of the month and we are back with another episode of our podcast series. This time the Dreamchannel Co-Founder Ostrov is delivering an introspective fieldtrip through grainy subterranean landscapes and richly saturated planes. The Basel based musician and sound engineer has a deep understanding of classical and contemporary music which he implements in his own works to create exactly such textures. With the foundation of Dreamchannel and his studies in audio engineering he underlines his aim to create and share music and spaces in which music can happen. 
Experimenting in both soft- and hardware based production approaches, he produces slowly evolving vessels into another world; storytelling like a daydream at night.

Brootworth is a Vienna-based multi-genre producer and artist. His latest 4-track EP, forthcoming on his label ghosttown, is a series of cybernetic dancefloor experiments that alternate between dismantled jungle and grime-infused syncopation. His sets are known to be dark and deconstructed, a journey through broken textures of fluttering kicks, warped vocal chops and polyrhythmic breaks.
With his recent live-sets, he shifts into more abstract and harsh sounds, exploring modes of fragmentation, alienation and dissolution of the bodily expression through digital distortions.

I took the opportunity to mix the more tranquil tracks of my selection. I like tracks that sweep you away with spherical melodies while bass and broken rhythms keep you grounded. My tendency to epic mood changes is showing up here.
