Exhibition series, micro artist residency and pub at LADØNS gallery

LADØNS gallery turns into "Dienst" for 5 weeks. In the front room with a shop window facing the street, 4 invited artists spend a one-week micro-residency while receiving a basic income. On weekdays Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5:30 pm (lunch break 0,5 h) the artist produces artworks. Friday is vernissage day. Until Saturday night or Sunday visitors can take a look at the created work(s). With a pub scenario in the back room, the symbolic place of segregated, precarious side jobs is integrated directly into the space of artistic production. Dienst deals with and criticizes the working conditions in the visual arts and creates a space that enables discourses about class, money, new concepts for (financially) safer artistic production, fears, needs and wishes (tbc).
