HHH label is a series of releases coming from a musical research and visual residency called Hitchhiker. 
ⒽⒽⒽ residencies was created by Encastrable, a visual art duo who is part of Carpaccio team.

The guest artist for the 4 th episode is @hadji-hajj who is a video maker and producer from Lyon. He is also the boss of Dawn records and one of the owners of the famous Schnell records .

The idea of HHH is simple: to invite an artist for a road trip by car, van or camping car, to produce music.
It's a great excuse to look for and create new forms with the guest artist.
Each artist is invited to make field recordings during the trip in order to compose tracks. For this one, the travel was between Le Puy de Dôme, Le Limousin and Corrèze.

Hidden in plain sight, grinning through worry, living in insecurity – modern society has returned to a day-by-day race for survival. To be vulnerable is the new normal; afraid, a bare minimum. Something was bound to emerge from the quiet throngs of the new precariat, and Racine is such a voice, setting to music those modern lives defined by uncertainty.

Quelque Chose Tombe (‘Something Falls’) is a set of compositions that confronts demons both inner and outer head-on. Created during a period of necessary unemployment somewhere in Montreal – caring for one’s health can take precedence over work – the music is both a grotesque dance of the goblins and the gentle opiatic breath of the protectors. It’s a harrowing reflection of the prevalent vampiric hypochondria forcing a generation into fatigue. 

The sounds crawling out of Racine speak with their own internal logic. Snippets of fractured tunes creak through perturbed post-digital soundscapes, blurred and fragmented along the way into haunting amorphous instrumentals. The two-part title track is multi-part sonic maze where raven-like pitch bent notes gather, a broken rave theme punctures its way through bass fog, and silence clefts the music in two, ushering in a coda of heartbroken ambience. As the album’s suite progresses, Racine shepherds mutant melodic themes in and out of earshot, like clear thoughts bringing temporary order to a state of emotional panic and withdrawal. A host of other sounds too – voices and birdsong, cybernetically deformed – populate Racine’s scarred productions. 

Emerging from Quelque Chose Tombe’s constant darkness however, is a latent sense of hope. Racine is turning modern vulnerability into a strength, creating a singular aesthetic to reflect and confront an uncomfortable present.

This year Duke alongside Mc MCZO, Gave several gigs around Europe and performed in Unsound Festival and many more.

In this yanni mix Duke brings the finest crops of Pamoja Record with a splendid ensemble of their sickest MCs, Starring Mczo Morfani, Muchizo, Kitale, Kashiwash, Dogo Lizz and Kuke. This sound pierces rubbers in everything but road rollers.

@muqataa is a producer, beats craftsman and MC. Creating sounds based in Ramallah, using sampled material, field recordings, and electronic devices, the results range between harsh beats, ambient tones, increasingly been known for his more avant-garde noise music. and glitch. He released a number of solo albums in the past few years such as “Hayawan Nateq” in 2013 and his soundtrack album “La Lisana Lah” 2017 and the limited tape edition on Third Type Tapes “Dubt Al-Ghubar” in 2017 and recently released his full-length album “Inkanakuntu” on the sub-label souk/discrepant, and has composed several international and local film scores, as well as dance theater performances, and is now working on different collaborative and solo projects. Muqata'a is the godfather of hip hop in Ramallah.

Nidal Taha Is a resident DJ & founding member of assembli now (drowned by locals) Amman.
 He has played different events and festival alongside regional and international artists like oddz, Mayss, Via App, Jad Atoui and Hiro Kone,

Scavenging sounds from online and on-site detritus, citizen media, and militarised ads and technologies, Jessika Khazrik’s sonic scapes intimately investigate the techno-political premises of the military economies we inhabit or forget. 

Often born out of vocoded collaborations with recurrent neural networks skewed with hard-edged Arabic rhythms, Khazrik festively uses spaces of congregation—such as clubs, museums, her house, quarries, and the internet—to search for new, locally entrenched universalities that could collectively respond to the dystopias of our current time. 

Khazrik's interdisciplinary practice as artist, writer, technologist and DJ ranges from composition to machine learning, performance, visual art, ecotoxicology and history of science and music. She also composes the score of the GEOCINEMA project and often collaborates with artists and labels on album art and text. She has performed at CTM Festival, Ballroom Blitz, ALL, Museum of Modern Art Warsaw, Silent Green, Les Urbaines, HKW, Theater Der Welt, quarries, her house, secrets, among others. 

Khazrik often collaboratively works under the name of 'نادي شهود الزور / The Society of False Witnesses' and is currently the editor of the International Solidarity page at the 17teshreen monthly publication.
