Featuring the poem: The Rub written by Syd Hawes. Narrated by darker. Violin by Taro 
Voice canon by darker. 
Synths, field recordings, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, flute and composition by Aboutface. 

°s is inspired by patterns in urban nature: language; behaviour; seasons, and along with the poem, explores the cyclical psychological peaks and troughs experienced during a pandemic. Live multi-instrumental improvisations apply the fibonacci sequence to create melodies and rhythms that mimic fractal patterns in nature, and are situated within binaural field recordings captured during essential travel in the first pandemic lockdown.

Bridge was supposed to be the Edinburgh-born Kieran Warren’s debut release in 1994 on a short-lived UK label Metatone by J. M. Adkins (Electro Music Union) and Damon D'Cruz (Jack Trax, Chill). The music was forgotten until Adkins tipped Cold Blow guys off while they were working on the 2019 anthology "Electro Music Union, Sinoesin & Xonox Works 1993-1994".

Cold Blow has restored and compiled their vision of the ‘94 “Bridge” from the original demo tape archives that were also scoured by Metatone in their time.

Essential for the fans of Bochum Welt and Aphex's Selected Ambient Works, the album moves between melodic techno cuts and nostalgic ambient pieces.

To honor the recent passing of composer Harold Budd, this special edition of Wayward in Limbo features a live recording of a very special concert by Harold and Seattle bassist Keith Lowe. 

The performance took place at the Good Shepherd Center Chapel in Seattle on June 11, 2009 to celebrate the release of Harold's book of poetry, "Colorful Fortune." It was co-presented by Nonsequitur and publishers Heavenly Monkey Editions (Vancouver) and MoonLiner Books (Seattle). Thanks to Rob Angus for the beautiful recording, and to Keith Lowe for agreeing to share it with us.

And thank you, Harold, for gracing this world with your beautiful music. You are appreciated and missed.
