Natty Nature meets Bass Culture Players "Country Living showcase"

This new showcase released in Autumn 2017 is the end result of a lot of hard work and several months of planning taking place throughout the past year. Two faces of the reggae and dub culture in Madrid unite forces to bring you this EP; the mature and educated sound of Bass Culture Players alongside the fresh vocal and artistic vibe brought to you by the young Natty Nature.

As well as it being a showcase of the first ever musical production together, it’s Natty’s first solid project in creating a full album as supposed to releasing singles. Influenced by the 70’s and 80’s Roots Reggae sound of Jamaica, Puppa Shan has composed these riddims, bringing in some of Spain’s best Reggae musicians and united with Natty Nature to bring you what could be Spain’s 2017 roots album revelation of the year. 

New generation coming from the mountains of Madrid to bring you songs with message and a deeper understanding of the times we are living in through a young man’s perspective. Raised on Roots Reggae and forming himself in the Sound System scene, Natty is a versatile singjay working militantly on his and his brother’s sound called “Nu School Steppas Sound System”, working on several projects to be announced and released this upcoming year. 

This is the beginning of a great friendship and musical bond between two warriors brought together by the love of Reggae Music and the willingness to create a project that promotes consciousness amongst the people, in this time where there seems to be real a lack of knowledge and understanding, aiming at an international audience.

London based acclaimed musicians “Soothsayers Horns” are  renowned for their fusion of Afro Beat , Reggae, Dub and Funk, working extensively with such artists as: Michael Prophet, Johnny Clarke, Cedric im Brooks, Rico Rodriguez and Jerry Dammers, as well as a whole host of World, Jazz and Pop artists. 
Tackling the same rhythm track as Ras Zacharri, they dispel all cultural and racial boundaries with the poignantly titled “Salaam Shalom” reminding us of the unifying qualities of reggae music. Driving Horn riffs and powerful refrains create an uplifting instrumental, bound to please both revival and contemporary fans alike!
