David aka Benzine, jeune artiste de 20 ans, pas très à l’aise avec l’outil informatique, il compose en dawless (sans logiciel), à l’aide de samplers, synthés et pédales d’effet. Cette manière de produire lui tient à cœur car elle permet de se rapprocher au maximum de la magie d’un son joué en live.

Parmi les nombreux styles qui l’inspirent, le dub s’est imposé comme le plus adapté à l’univers qu'il essaie de créer. Cela n’empêche pas quelques déviances. 

Il vous présente son premier EP : « Oasis ». 
Un voyage ambiant, orientale et aquatique.

Originaire de Lyon et étudiant en mode à Milan, Automated Desire a toujours eu ce besoin d'explorer et de créer, en s'informant sur la peinture, le cinéma, les arts visuels... Mais son dévouement s'exprime surtout en musique. Il commence très tôt à composer du dubstep, pour ensuite trouver sa voie dans la Dub, la Drum&Bass et le Breakbeat.

A travers son premier EP solo, l'artiste propose un voyage visceral vers l'autodestruction et l’abandon de soi, illustré par des sonorités raw et chromées, résultat d’un croisement entre le Dub, le Garage et la Jungle. Le résultat est un projet qui peut aussi bien être écouté en concert qu’en pleine virée nocturne.

Coming from Lyon and studying Fashion Design in Milan, Automated Desire has always felt an urge to explore and create, by learning about painting, cinema, visual arts... But his dedication is mostly expressed in music. He first began to compose dubstep, and then found his way in Dub, Drum&Bass and Breakbeat.

Through his debut solo EP, the artist offers a visceral journey towards self-destruction and abandonment, illustrated by raw and chrome sounds, the result of a crossing between Dub, Garage and Jungle. Détérioration is a project that can be listened to in a concert as well as coming back home after a night out.

Roots Zombie c’est la rencontre entre un producteur de musique électronique et un bassiste Dub. Issus du Punk, ils qualifient leur style d’Electro Voodoo Dub alliant Reggae, Techno et World Music.

En 2017 le duo signe l’album “Soundz From The House” sur le label ODG PROD, puis “Dub Highway” en 2022 chez “Culture Dub”, avant de proposer leur premier EP autoproduit «Bad Drivers» en 2024.

Aussi à l'aise sur scène qu'en sound system, Roots Zombie continue de multiplier les projets et concerts, mêlant machines, basse et guitare en live.
