Always in search of creation and defending pure techno, he tries to create a primitive and percussive atmosphere through his mixes and his productions. Through this EP, satin seeks to explore sounds, ranging from tribal rhythms to more textured sounds. He imagines the latter as crossing a primitive jungle: from the arrival in it, passing through the pressure and fear of exploration until the deliverance of arrival.

Satin is a French DJ and producer from the Nancy scene, and the founder of the label FLIP, dedicated to showcasing emerging artists and underground music. Exposed from an early age to a wide range of influences, from jazz to rock, he naturally gravitated toward electronic music.

It was in 2019 that he discovered techno. Naturally curious, he explored all its subgenres and took his first steps on labels such as 240km/h. His artistic growth, along with the evolution of the scene, gradually led him toward a purer, slower, and more textured form of techno. Eventually, he found his creative home in a darker, more mental, and hypnotic style. He sees in it the reflection of a bleak, saturated era searching for meaning - oppressive on one side, liberating on the other. Thus, his techno, though deeply introspective, is also profoundly real and physical.

Supported by renowned artists such as Aadja, Vel, Roulita, and Anetha, he strives to make every production and every mix an experimental space. Always eager to learn, he constantly seeks to refine his sonic identity, with instinct remaining his main guiding principle.
